i saw this squad recently played by a New Zealander Stephen Edward Maslin which I really liked. Here is the list...

Advanced Sensors + someone with Wingman is solid, I think this squad is looks really good. I've run squads like this for a while, and I find that it's hard for the Black to keep up with the EU Shuttle so you don't always get the wingman with him. I think I would drop RC and bring Yorr, but then that changes a lot how I might built it out.

I think I would do this instead:

x2 OGP + FCS + APL

Yorr + FCS + TActician + Gunner

BSP + Wingman

I don't think this is really better, just a different look. I think the main weakness of this build is that it requires you to fly your shuttles smart. If they can start getting behind you and picking you off, then your in trouble.

The Good - Lots of Hull and shields with good punch

The Bad - There isn't a good closing ship. If it comes down to a shuttle vs just about any other ship in a dog fight, the shuttle is going to lose most of the time.

3 shuttles + no end game plan seems like you are just asking to get outflanked... You know, unless you just absolutely decimate them first.

With Yorr in the mix and APL you can hold still for a long time and keep them from bumping, but your right, once you get out flanked things tend to go down hill fast. If you can get your shuttles to counter rotate you can cover flanks but that's easier said then done.
