B-wing. Always, always B-wing...

Since I first saw it, the A-Wing has been my favorite ship. I love the fast and maneuverable. Haven't picked up Rebel Aces yet, but I'm very much looking forward to that expansion. I also like building lists from one type of ship, and think every ship in the game can be competitive that way.

Defender by far.

X followed closely by a tie of Y B and A.

The snow-speeder was always my favorite as a kid and since the A-wing is kind of similar it is my next favorite.

There are all A-wing lists but I would be more than hesitant to fly that myself.

My favorite ships?

Rebels- Y-Wing (with X-wing, a close runner-up)

Empire- TIE Advanced* (with TIE/Ln and TIE/In, close behind)

*Note: that does not mean that it is my preference in an XWM game, for tournament play. But... c'mon... it's Vader's ride... how can anything even compare to that for "cool"?

A-Wings. I just love flying the speedy little buggers, and the new pilots and upgrades from Rebel Aces make them that much more fun.

Next is the really solid X-Wing - it's not flashy, but it hits hard, takes a punch, and isn't a slouch in tumbling.

The E-Wing just makes me happy - it feels a bit more fragile than the X-Wing, but the speed and punch make up for it.

On the Imperial side, I really love flying the Defender. Probably because it's the most like a Rebel starfighter.

Gotta go with A-wings. Parents bought me a toy A-wing as a kid and I abused the heck out of it haha.

I'd love to fly all A-wing lists, but I never have much luck with it.

They are certainly fun to fly, and Rebel Aces introduced great new pilots and upgrades but I never feel like they are a force to be reckoned with. They just come across as annoying in the eyes of my opponents and it's frustrating.

Rolling 2 red dice against a 3 agility ship with a focus/evade or a cloaked phantom is never too exciting.

TIE Advanced. It's iconic, and it's just a cool ship all around.

After that, I'd have to go with Bombers.. I just dig their look, those twin cylinders, and their loadouts are impressive as well.

Squints and the other classic/iconic ships are all nice, but I like those two best..

My favourite ship is the TIE Interceptor just 'cos I love the look of them. Game-wise, I have yet to have them survive a game. Overly fragile little buggers!

TIE Bombers are my favorite. Like oneway, I think they look awesome and they have a lot of loadout options.

I've also flown all-bomber lists, but my success with those is rather spotty. Still, there's nothing quite like a diamond formation of four bombers flying across the mat towards their target.

But, as said, I've had better luck with three bombers supplemented with TIE Fighters to rush forward and engage the opponent while the bombers line up their target locks and shots.

4 Bombers are best-looking on the table. I had some success with Jonus' Bombers. But yeah. The sad thing is that you are more successful if you use 4 empty bombers + other ships.

TIE Interceptors. Love the menacing design, love the way they fly in game. Pro pilots only need apply.

I'm pretty fond of the Phantom, even though I'm only mediocre at using them. Those rare moments when I plan my moves just right and get range one shots at the back of a valuable ship are just magnificent.

I also really like X-Wings. The best selection of pilots in the game, a dial that can go in any formation, and solid stats. Very fitting for the workhorse of the Rebellion.

My favorite is definitely the A-Wing. Second is the HWK-290. I would love to make pure builds or a combination of the two.

X-Wing, because it has, to me, the perfect mix of offense, defense, and speed.

I also play Imperials. My favorite Imperial ship is the TIE Fighter because of its versatility.

On the Rebel side it has to be the A-wing, followed closely by that good old warhorse the Y-wing. I also have a strange soft spot for the HWK as well for some reason.

As for the Imps, it's the Interceptor all the way with the Defender coming in behind.

I'm mostly rebel for the X-Wing which so well balanced with great pilots.

But man, I love running the named Tie Fighters.

Phantom, Defender, B-wing, Firespray, Decimator, Y-wing... out of those 6 i don't have a favorite, or my favorite is conditional based on my mood.

I'd have to say the Imperial Shuttle is my favorite. I enjoy the challenging dial. The shuttles stats are great for such a low point cost and it has so many options for upgrades. I don't mind flying a naked shuttle either or just throwing on a single upgrade like a Fire Control System. Also three or four shuttles just looks cool on the table. They sort of remind me of a hungry pack of great white sharks circling their prey.

The Firespray is a close second. I can't wait to try out those new scum pilots.
