Rebel Aces 2 ideas continued...

Yeahp,
so I expect some apologies are in order,
that I don't imagine will ever come my way.

The autoblaster was reintroduced during the Galactic Civil War, now as an updated version of blaster technology. Designed for the B-wing fighter, this modern autoblaster had an even higher rate of fire than other blasters, but was not available to other models until after the Battle of Endor.

Not a very serious suggestion, but not an off canon one either.

The other card was such a big hit I thought I would try
another modification upgrade that might be cool for
REBEL ACES 2.

I personal like these ideas. They fall under a topic I start about Ship Variants, Like the B52, (which has 12 variants or models) there should be physical changes to each model of ships. For example, Remove the turret and replace it with a cannon slot. Would be a perfect example of a Y-Wing Variant. Here's one for the Empire, On a Tie Bomber remove two of the Torpedo slots and replace one with a Cannon Slot, and the other with a crew slot. Ship variants would make the game so much more fun. Just my humble opinion.

So this post is almost three months before
the card for autoblaster turret was spoiled.
Vindicated again despite all the bashing.

Anyone else (besides they very whiny SpikeSpiegel),
have ideas percolating in need of some inspiration
to crystallize or ideas completely fleshed out already?

Oh, and in case I forgot, thank you devotedknight, Gundog8324,
and everyone else who was not so narrow minded.

how about a turret upgrade that works like proton rockets? somewhere in the 6-7 point range, range 1-2 base, damage of 2, add attack dice equal to your agility. it needs a slight drawback, but maybe thats the points.

it would make the hwk a sudden force to reckon with, while not being an auto-include on y-wings.

HAY GUYS I MADE UP SOME CARDS THAT ARE NOTHING LIKE THE ONES FFG MADE, SEE HOW VINDICATED I AM!!!!!!!!!!

Well this threads already gone to hell.

So let's talk about steak as a breakfast, as an Englishman it confuses me that people would start their day like that, bacon and sausage those are breakfast staples, and not that streaky rubbish proper medallions of back bacon.

Mmmmm bacon...... but I do like a decent steak with the morning meal.. not always, but now and again is a nice treat...

You guys throw us colonists off too though... beans???? Not our usual staple either.. lol..

Hmm toast, backed beans a couple of sausages with loads of bacon and a fried mushroom, the full English is a great way to start the day.

Then of course there's oatcakes.

Ugh... oats are horse food.. lol.. I make the best swedish pancakes in a hundred mile area. Lol.. I make them much like french crepes. They are awesome with butter and powdered sugar, or jam.. but really good with lingon berries, or boysenberry syrup..

Sometimes with eggs and bacon, or just bacon.. lol.. a half pound of the luscious back meats... lol

Swedish pancakes are the BEST, especially with lingonberries. When I visited Sweden last two years ago I tried them for the very first time; now I can't eat American ones anymore because I always think "Swedish are better."

The only thing necessary for a good breakfast is bacon. Maybe some bread so you can make a bacon sandwich, but even that is optional. Everyone here is complicating things with berries and sauces, yet none of them have simply assembled a big pile of meat and politely refused a fork.

Granted, I think I'm one of the younger people here so maybe they did do this when their metabolisms could handle it. When my metabolism slows down I'll have a heart attack and die before I even realize it.

Bread? You mean two extra-thick slices of bacon to put the bacon in between??

I use a recipe that my grandfather passed down... he came here from sweden back in the early 1900s... I live in a town with a large swedish population and many decendants of swedes... have a few restaurants that serve swedish pancakes.. I still make better than all of them..lol.. my ego is in check here.. lol. I do make a darn tasty cake.. paper thin and just a hint of sweet... mmmmmm might have to make some sunday.. hahaha

Oh I'll kill a pile of bacon.. don't let my 50 years fool ya... I went for pie and coffee the other night with a friend after we saw Fury.. an excellent movie BTW ... and ordered a side of bacon with my pie... fear not youngling, bacon is always on the menu...

Did...did you just diss oatcakes? Man if you ever visit England avoid the Midlands your names on the list now.

:P

I'm not sure what the release of Autoblaster Turret is meant to be a vindication of...

I'm assuming it's also discarded after use? Because having four 4-dice turretships going around the field might just push a fair chunk of the playerbase over the edge.

You really can't go 5 seconds without insulting someone can you?

As for the main topic, my favorite breakfast is a nice waffle with bacon, and a glass of chocolate milk.

Mmmmm Bacon...

Lol.. I did..and will til I die.. horse food ain't people food.. lol.. I hate oats of most kinds, and dont like the rest.... unless finely ground.. then tossed in the trash...

I was in jolly old England back in the 70s, if I am fortunate enough to get back there, I'll do so under an assumed name.. :)

This ain't no horse food it's a way of life, all over staffs shops sell out of oatcakes every day, people have killed each other over this magical food, when the Germans attacked al alamein the officers told the lads they were coming for their oatcakes and the lads went berserk fighting like demons!

No where outside the staffs area may make or eat them on pain of severe beating, so jealously do we guard their secrets even other Englishmen may not of heard of the oatcake, for the very idea may drive them insane.

I'll stick with my waffles over oats. :)

Haha.. awesome. I might be tempted to taste one if I was there. I might even like it if the oat flour is fine ground... but if I liked it... I'd open a place here in the states and sell em.. hahaha

Two golden coloured eggs over easy, four beautiful slices of thick and smoky bacon, a nice wedge of a beefsteak tomato and two slices of multigrain toast with butter. Serve that up with hot tea or some powerful coffee.

They'd be HWKs though. You don't see quad phantoms or quad Y wings with ion floating around.

Apologies, awful quoting on mobile.

Good job guys, I was content with my coffe and banana bread breakfast, now I want bacon and Swedish pancakes.
