EH03-FinnSheet.jpg

Starts around Canada, gets whiskey, cat burglar and a courier run (go to a clue space that is placed on card to get rewards)

EH03-Agnessheet.jpg

Starts in Arkham, gets a tome (1 reroll will once in combat), Offensive Spell

EH03-Patricesheet.jpg

Starts probably in Europe, starts with a Banishment spell (like poison mist but with +2, and effects only monster on a gate but you do not need to be on that space to cast), probably starts with a clue.

EH03-GeorgeSheet.jpg

Probably starts in southern Asia likely, starts with pocket watch and an investment (during reaction flip card to see what you receive)

I can see Finn becoming Charlie chauffeur

I am sure hathway probably starts in Europe, well Barnaby starts somewhere south on the board??

Agnes Baker's abilities - Holy crap!

Patrice seems purdy dang good too!

I wanna play!

Good to see my man George in there - the ultimate challenge in AH, we'll see how he does in EH.

That being said, would anyone in their right mind take a waitress, a violinist, or a lawyer to a secret expedition in Antarctica??

I'd probably take Agnes if she told me she was an ancient sorceress in a past life who lived in another dimension called Hyperborea and had fought (although unsuccessfully) an ancient one before.

I mean, when monsters are pouring out of inter-dimensional tears in space/time and someone volunteers (crazy or not), I'd probably take what I could get and assume they're all insane to one degree or another. But what the heck, somebody's got to try.

Can someone spend tickets on Finn movement action or only he can spend a ticket on himself while performing it?

As long as he doesn't say anything so that secrecy is mantained, hell, yes!

Also for George: it looks totally great! (strange) eons better than in AH!

I believe Finn doesn't use tickets. His action is simply to spend an action to move himself or someone on his space via a train or boat path.

You can only spend tickets during your "travel" action. This isn't a travel action so you would not be able to spend tickets to move additional spaces. That being said, Finn could both use this action and then a "Travel" action to get a free space out of the deal. Unfortunately, this does not help with weird footpath locations like the Heart of Africa because you can only move along a ship or train path. If it did, he would really be something special allowing someone to move out of an isolated location and then also use a travel action to spend tickets.

Oh well, it's still nice.

That's my reading too. He seems to be a sort of prime mover for other investigators, and he can also push himself to move up to four spaces in the same turn (chaining travel + 2 tickets + this action). Not too bad, especially when you're in a hurry (see: Mysteries requiring artifacts, for example)

Also, he can make Silas even more efficient! Finn's +1 move, Silas's Boating action joined with a travel action, + 2 tickets = 5 moves... and then Silas can still do an action of his choice (maybe solving that mystery you mention)!

Sidenote: Looking at Agnes's new art, it looks like they made her much more "pretty" and girly/feminine too, haha. I rather liked that some of the investigators in AH were sort of "plain" looking. Looks like EH is trying to beautify them? http://www.arkhamhorrorwiki.com/File%3AAgnesBaker.png

Even Finn is looking rather dashing.

The girl with violin looks extremely powerful! I like her!

Believe it or not, she's even MORE powerful in Arkham Horror. Like... game-breaking almost.

Is the focus mentioned on George Barnaby's card a copy and paste error from Arkham Horror?

Hah. No, believe it or not these characters haven't just been copy/pasted from Arkham, as you may be able to tell from them being entirely different. Focus is a new mechanic added in this expansion. As an Action, an Investigator may gain a Focus token, and they can be spent for rerolls in the same manner as Clues.

So are all the investigators added with MoM characters from FFG's other mythos games? I think its kinda cool that they've got this "core cast" of investigators that crop up in different titles.

Yup, no "new faces" coming with MoM, they are all old friends coming to help (even thought they have different faces since new art is used)

I agree. I really like this angle. It helps make the world of the games truly feel connected. The microcosm of Mansions of Madness and the macrocosm of Eldritch Horror bookend the quiet cityscape of Arkham Horror quite well.

I'm very glad to see Agnes, Patrice, and Daisy again. Don't ask me why, but I was kind of hoping little Wendy Adams would make an appearance. She's a real pip! She hasn't been seen since Arkham Horror, so maybe she still will.

I don't think any Investigator has been in all three games, so I'm expecting them to pull from the investigators NOT found in Mansions.

Just a little note - Wendy does appear in the Elder Signs: Omens mobile game, so she's not completely MIA.
