Ascension for Rogue Trader

Does anyone have any viable houserules for what to do when someone reaches the XP cap in a combined game? This game has Deathwatch and Ascended Dark Heresy people as well as an ork (long story) using the Rogue Trader Freeboota.

I'm just planning ahead here mostly, but I don't want to leave people out in the late-game.

The easy way would be to simply open up elite advances (if you haven't already). Could also allow them to elite-advance up to +30 in the carrier's Core Skills (anything they started with, or anything they got +20 in during their carrier).

There's also the option of allowing them to continue buying characteristic advances, up to Heroic level, for similar costs as in Ascension.

+30 in RT could be quite nice.
