My Miniature Market order just arrived last night: a Core Set, Rebel Aces, 2x Z-95s, 1x E-wing, 2x TIE/d Defender, 1x TIE Phantom.

Owch. Here's hoping wave 5 comes out soon. I specifically avoided MM because of that. Wanted to get it all in one order, but without any release date for wave 5, I couldn't convince myself to do it.

I did that, went through the lead pile and just sold stuff i was never going to paint to fund x wing and the Tie costume project.

You can contact customer service at Miniature Market and see if they will split it into 2 shipments - I did this last month, but it may change your shipping costs. Nonetheless, I have a feeling that that the Decimator and YT-2400 will arrive soon ... or at least I hope :-)

In the UK my local store said to expect them mid november realistically.

We didnt get rebel aces until about a week or so ago.

I wasnt even that fusses about the outrider but 'stay on target' looks like a good choice for Keyan (perhaps more so than PTL) so i'll probably end up getting one.

I already did it once

I went and ordered the Decimater, Outrider, Rebel Aces AND a transport, YWing, Tie Bomber and TIE Fighter

Called and had them split the transport and single fighters out from the rest, paid $8.00 shipping and got my stuff

I just cant rationalize another $8 for just Rebel Aces

did they restock too?

Been addicted for quite some time, this was just my semesterly (is that even a word?) bulk purchase. So now I'm trying to create lists that incorporate as much of the new shinier as possible. I've already come up with an Imperial list; but I'm stuck on a good Rebel one. Any thoughts?

For rebels i like three lists at the moment

XXYY (garvin and dutch as named pilots with generic wingmen and Ion turrets on both Ys... if you can afford it put an R2 on one of the Ys to help clear stress with more green and R2D2 on Garvin to keep him alive.. lots of focus and TL swapping)

or

BBB... generic dagger, nera with munitions failsafe and proton torps and advanced proton torps... 360 hurty for any phantoms who appear and to top it off Keyan with a HLC and push the limit... stress him out and watch it tear people up as he fires 4 die at all ranges..

or my latest fave list thats only had a brief trial by fire but did very well

AAAA All have chardan refit, PTL and test pilot. Tycho has predator, jake has outmanouvre, the two green squadron generics have VI (this proved to be a waster of points last time i played as i played a three ship elite imperial force which negated VI totally and dampened predator). Still won only losing tycho though. Everyone else lost their shileds and one green squadron pilot took a crit that wiped out his EPTs (which only PTL was missed ).

So your options there are:

in the first list you crusie the Y wings round the board centre while the x wings stay out covering wide arcs... not impossible for a phantom to decloak but trickier for it as you've got this range 1-2 'bubble' from the Y wings which being more like a venn diagram actually covers a large area while the Xs tackle the flanks.

second list is just attritional. I use the dagger as a sacrifice (to a degree) while Keyan snipes the hell out of everyone from range, Nera flies his flank to give him a 360 punch and stop him being blindsided.

last list is again all about spreading arcs, being very fast and nippy and getting a lot of actions... you PTL nearly every turn which stresses you but you've got enough green options to clear it without being predictable each turn.

Those three lists have worked well for me, the first one suggested by some of the more veteran players on here when i was quite new to the game.

Sorry looking at your list i reckon you could still do the first one as XXXY but you'd probably need to tank up the Y wing a bit to keep the plan working.

Assuming rebel aces isnt in your 'ive got' sig file yet you could also still do the second list.

Third list perhaps subsitute the fourth A wing (green squadron) for a Z95 with a nippy engine boost or even a supporting named character?
