Tycho was crazy! All of my other fighters got rocked pretty quickly but he refused to die and took down a lot of other ships!

A-wings were underappreciated. Looks like a heck of a game.

Also, dig the red TIE/ln. I've got a trio of them myself

Might I suggest getting a cheap, plastic table cloth at Walmart for about $3? I then used some spray paint and flicked paint on it to make the stars. If you had an air brush or even made a stencil with the spray paint, you could do a better job. I just threw it together. Oh, it's wrinkled now, but 1.5 minutes in the dryer on low and it came out better.

I did another practice round of a demo game I'm planning on running at a local Con. 205 pts (hey, they each needed a little bit more) on each side and no named pilots. Very few upgrades, too, as I am opening it up to anyone, including utter new people. In my last game, I was the only experienced one. The other 3 guys had played a couple of times, but even that was over a year before. The first time I ran it with 6 people and most of them had either never played or played a couple of games.

The first game had the Imperials coming in piecemeal. The Interceptors rushed forward first and were shot up. The Rebels were able to concentrate their fire and blast too many Imperial ships before it was just too late. The Corvette hardly took damage.

The second game was with fewer people and easier to control the pace. The Imperials came in steady and hit all at once. The Lamda came in early, though and was blasted before it could fire. The first 2-3 turns saw lots of Rebel ships die, though. Soon, there was only the B-wing and the Tantive. Overall, though, it got bloody quickly. Two Imperials were run over. One Imperial rammed the Corvette. The front section was down to 1 hull point and the rear had 5. The B-wing ionized the last Interceptor to float and collide with the Corvette for the win!

I think I'm changing the Tie Advanced Proton Rockets to Concussion Missiles as it's just too hard to get in range. Also, the few times it did fire, it didn't do that much damage. I think the Concussion Missiles will do about the same amount of damage without the need to get as close.

I'm also thinking of swapping out the B-wing for two Z-95 Headhunters, but that last Ion Cannon shot was awesome.

One thing I don't understand is the Single Turbolasers. 4 dice, but your opponent gets to double their green dice? It seems that this is more of a capital ship vs capital ship type of weapon. I don't see any use for it at the moment. Does anyone else?

I agree with you about the turbolaser, it really is only effective against shuttles and decimators right now, but it should wreck those nicely. I personally never invest in those, I take the quads instead.

It's a new house and a new table. Fun space backdrops will be coming eventually.

In the link there is a picture of my 200 points. My teammate had the transport and corvette, each with a bunch of upgrades to get them to 200. I can't remember exactly what was on them...

And the Empire was running.... Vader, Fel, Jendon, Scimitarx2, Dark Curse, Kir Kanos, Backstabber, Winged Gundark, Mauler Mithil, Tur Fnennir, Lt Lorrir, Krassis Trellix, Whisper, and maybe one or two others. I can't remember their exact loadouts.

There were a few stealth devices, hull upgrades, shield upgrades, and swarm tactics out there though.

Next time I'll do a better job of making sure I get the lists recorded.
