Just finished my first game. I like it much more than WoW/G. Much more nuances. The luck factor is not the big deal I thought. With the mechanism of using tokens ect to alter the final result, there is some strategy involved.

Played a solo scenario with random pilots from both sides. Rookie Alliance with protons and R2F2 vs Obsidian squad and "Mauler Mithel". 30 to 28 pts. Had lots of fun with the AI controlling the Imperials. Ended badly for the rookie. Last attack roll by the Obsidian result of 2 hits against the X-Wing: the Rookie rolls three blank defense dice!

Blown out of the sky. Did manage to damage both TIEs tho. Did realize that I have to get a second set of dice.. probably will buy a second core set.

I am already sensing the power of the dark side.....
