I don't think so. You'd often be in a situation where you'd be attacking yourself and that just doesn't feel right at all.

My husband and I play two player all the time. You do wind up fighting yourself, but it winds up being a strategic thing. You also wind up helping yourself--you can make space to allow another team to achieve a goal, for example.
