Y-wings get bombs FOR FREE!!

Cannot wait for this to come out.

EPIC update!

A lot of rebel love though I foresee some imperial moaners

I have a question::

How can you use the "Feedback Array" if overlapping an asteroid (as stated in the article) since the card says "instead of performing any attacks"?

You cannot attack while overlapping an asteroid, which means there cannot be any instead of, right?

My guess is since it isn't an "Action" or "An Attack" you can still use it.

But holy crap some of these upgrades, Scum Y-wings are going to be amazing.

Best part is the Bomb upgrade isn't unique, so you can take 2 bombs or a bomb and a Torp.

Edit: Just saw the Limited keyword on the card :( Was looking forward to two 2 cost bombs.

Looks nice! Rebel Y-Wings will also be able to use that upgrade it seems.

It's news about a new X-Wing release. Of course someone will whine.

Yes; and it is a limited upgrade - only one per ship. Curious.

See that word "limited"? That means you can only take one per ship. You can have one per ship on as many Y-Wings as you want, but only one per ship.

So when do you not take Unhinged Astromech? That's an amazing power for just one point. I suppose if you're taking 'Genius' to Y-Bomb?

Really want to see those Y-Wing pilots now and see what this all costs.

Lots of people don't take R2 Astromech on their Rebel Y-wings, because while it's a helpful upgrade, skipping it is an easy way to make room for something else in your list. I suspect the Unhinged Astromech will be in a similar position.

Cool that you can take the illicit upgrade on even the lowest generic PS Headhunter; that makes it not only a cheap missile carrier but also a funky illicit upgrade carrier.

Important to note that it pays by losing a point of PS relative to the Bandit squadron pilot.

Y-Wings finally get bombs! I love it! I am still trying to find a use for Genius... would the Y-Wing still be in the 'blast radius' of any bomb it would drop if it dropped it AFTER it moves?

Headhunters with a 3 speed GREEN K-Turn? Ouch..

Dead Man's Switch makes ever Z-95 an Assault missile... that is hysterical!

Bomb Loadout isn't totally free, I don't believe. You must use the Torp slot to gain the Bomb slot so there will not be Ys dual armed with both.

Edit: never mind forgot the Ys had two torp slots.

Now we need some new bombs!

Headhunters can't have droids, salvaged or otherwise.

[EDIT] Aaron NINJAed me!

Zs cannot take astros...

Duh. Sorry. Forgot about that. In my haste to post, I realized after the fact. Still though a Y-Wing with a 3 Hard Green is pretty fantastic..

I expect we will be seeing exactly this loadout quite a lot. Or at least a lot of discussion of it!

A Y-wing with R7-T1 or an Engine Upgrade can boost out of range, I think. I'd have to get my templates out or boot up Vassal to be sure, and I'm at work at the moment.

The rule book states that when overlapping an obstacle your ship "cannot attack any other ship". Feedback Array allows you to do damage instead of attacking. On an asteroid and one damage left to go on the enemy seems like the perfect moment to use this "instead of performing an attack" ability as you cannot attack anyway. The Array does not state that you have to be able to attack only that you cannot attack if you use the card.

Looks like a clean getaway to me.

I'm not typically a Rebel player, but 4x Gold with ion turret and seismic charge sounds like too much fun not to try for 100pts :P
