Seriously though, have your favourite food, chat to a good mate, then hit the hay after a jog with some herbal sleep aids. You'll feel roughly 72% better the next day.

A bad day means that there has to be good days to compare and contrast against.

Had a work friend come by on Thursday to help calibrate a machine in my department. He asked me how it was going with the old thing and I told him what we had been doing with it. The next day I get a cease and desist letter from a manager as a health and safety complaint had been filed against the use of that machine. I found out that the guy chatted with me, found issue with something that I was doing, said nothing about it to me, then writ me up.

And this guy had been to my place for X-wing and boardgames a couple of times.

Not anymore.....

I think the important thing to take from it all is;

- bad sh1t happens to all of us-believe me. whilst it doesn't help immediately it is good to know you aren't alone and there are people out there who'll sympathise and understand. Do what feels right - heal in your own way (I'm all about the friends, self indulgence and inappropriate humour therapy but there is no right/wrong way to do it-as long as it's right for you).

And remember - xwing'll always be fun (and it'll wait for you to have a timeout if you need it)

I'm not going to tell you what way to go on this one mate-you know way more about the situation than me and will know whether fixing things or moving on is the right thing to do (for you- that's actually the most important thing) but I will say this; I've been there mate-losing something before you were ready to let it go is never nice but you will survive, whether it's moving on or fixing things, life will get better (and Xwing will still be a great distraction, rebel or imp...:-)

I'm not going to tell you what way to go on this one mate-you know way more about the situation than me and will know whether fixing things or moving on is the right thing to do (for you- that's actually the most important thing) but I will say this; I've been there mate-losing something before you were ready to let it go is never nice but you will survive, whether it's moving on or fixing things, life will get better (and Xwing will still be a great distraction, rebel or imp...:-)

Like I said I'm loath to tell you what to do knowing v.little about your situation but it sounds like she needs some time n space to get her emotions in check... Not easy I know trying to give space when you wanna talk...

Girlfriends are a dime-a-dozen.

If I would have lost a GF to a text (lame way to break up with someone btw) while playing a game of X-Wing, I wouldn't miss a beat....just keep playing.

Too many girls out there to worry about one with the 'class' to break up with you over a text message.
