Just wondering how far you regularly travel to get in a game of x-wing, say at a club or shop.

I'm not talking about one-off tourneys, I mean regular club nights etc.

The local store is 45 minutes away. I try to get up there once a week. I don't always succeed.

25 minute drive.

20 minutes, traffic willing.

Anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. For major events like Assault at Imdaar Alpha and Regionals I've travelled up to 8 hours.

15-20 min walking for me really helps get the blood flowing and burn of nervous energy before a game

Sometimes to my basement- approx. .5 min travel

Sometimes across town to LGS #1- approx. 30 min travel

How much do I travel? Or how much WILL I travel?

I have generally gone 5 minutes for a local game.

I'm willing to travel an hour to meet up with those who I regularly play with, who often will travel an hour to get where I am able to host.

I'm exceedingly lucky and have a great games store within ten minutes of here that gets the league kits. The regional was about six-seven hours away though.

3 miles to my friends, sadly it's a bit scarce locally where flgs are concerned GW killed the only local one which was 6 miles away.

40+ min. Once a week but worth it.

I used to have to drive an hour and a half for lots of things to reach Minneapolis. Was really glad that a good group formed closer to where I used to live, since even the 15-30 it took to get there was bad with all that ice, snow, and wind. Back in Michigan I just went an hour and a half which was supposed to be just under an hour, but it was a good tournament. Sometimes you just really need to get away and do something.

No further than 12 parsecs.

I live on the city outskirts (bare in mind it is a very small city) and travel to my local store via bus. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes (30 if you include walk time either end of the trip).

Thankfully where I live the game store I frequent is dead in the center of the city. All city busses stop 3 minutes away from the store so they are in an ideal place. With no car (or even driving licence to speak of...should really sort that out) its the only way I can get to my local meet up every Wednesday. Thankfully its so convenient I can quickly put a facebook post in the group on Saturday or Sunday and say "anyone fancy a game today?"

Local store 35 minutes away, friends house I regularly play at is 25 minutes

Closest store to me is over an hour away. I usually play with friends at their house or the local library.

If I remember to load the kit in the car in the morning, six blocks from the office. If I forget to load the minis in the morning, I'm probably not heading back that direction later that evening.

1 hour 20 minutes. Make trip weekly for league and tourneys.

We've got six stores in the area that support the game, which is awesome. The closest is ten minutes away in optimal traffic, and the farthest is probably 50-60 minutes. I have enough options within 20 minutes of me to normally stick to that, but in the Phoenix are driving an hour for a game is not unreasonable now and then.

I have traveled 1,500 miles to play a game of x-wing with a friend.

Less than 5 minutes from my workplace where I play regularly after work on Thursdays when the store is open late. It's 40 minutes from home.

We tend to play at each others houses, we all live in the same town so never more than a mile walk.

Most my games are at my house as i've a big dining room table and a 6'x4' star map so i usually dont have to travel at all.
