sadly, not more than what we already knew, but it just makes me want it that much more.

to really make it thematic, after release i intend to play outside during a snowstorm, with frost clung to my beard and frostbite slowly numbing my feet. can't wait.

edit: i wonder what the "Hunted" condition will be like > :)

there is a detailed explanation on BGG of each location.

unfortunately their site is currently down, so i can't link you.

most places have a way to do one of a multitude of things; increase stats, gain clues, gain artifacts, gain assets, ect.

after going to leng, you can pop out of any open gate on the main board..

Yes. And no. Not much detail, maybe, but some important info: first of all, you can get Unique Assets (the Antarctica guide, the Dog Sled); then we have a detail of encounter cards and research cards, which is not that bad. Indeed, the theme was preferred over the gameplay details, but, as iGniGhted said, most information was decripted on the BGG after GenCon

The new condition was the interesting thing in that article and that was not even their focus lol.

Hunted condition probably cannot focus or rest restriction.

The tentacle blob icon for the expansion may mean shoggath rebellion might be the other Ancient one?

The expansion icon is actually a collection of cone-shaped things.

I believe the word you were looking for is "mountains".

Tommy seems like a great support charachter.

Give him the first player marker, roll him into a gate space and the designated gate closers can follow on in or investigate those clues without fear of tenticled menaces.

Especially good for clearing Yigs cultist gangs that pile up on the expedition marker space

Worth noting that the Tommy image from BGG was taken from the About section of this website. Since then, the image has changed to a different version of Tommy. It is possible that the one posted above was an early version, and has been replaced.

I was under the impression this was the old version, as it is near identical to his arkham horror effect, as well as much less useful seeing as it doesn't work against any epic monsters, and works against his secondary effect entirely.

Well, it's the version that is currently posted on the About page...
