Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a good online visual guide to the Star Wars species? I'm not looking for game stats, just a good reference for what the various species look like, what planet they're from, the correct name, etc. I still tend to think of them a lot of the time by their old Kenner action figure names.

I'm sure I can find all of it at Wookiepedia, but I'm hoping for a site that's a little more species identification specific, and again, more of a visual walkthrough.

I was going to suggest just looking up the species on Wookieepedia, as each article has at least one image for a given species, provided said species as shown up in a media outside of novels, such as TV, animated, video game, or comic book.

But given how Wookieepedia pretty much seems to be an ad-site these days, I'd say Mancofett's suggestion is probably better.

I use an adblocker. And it doesn't help very much where Wookieepedia is concerned, particularly if you choose to open multiple tabs. But that's neither here nor there.

I just tried wookieepedia on IE (which has no ad blocker on it) and crap, you're right, major annoying ads for Marvel super heroes. But on Chrome with Adblock Pro, I get nothing.

Depending on your adblocker (such as Ad Block Plus for FireFox), that just means that others haven't added all the sites to some list. You can add elements to the block list yourself.
