Defender, Tie Fighter, Tie Advanced and Tie Bomber 2x + Shuttle

31pt Vader just doesn't do it for me anymore. I feel like he needs to punch his weight or at least contribute AND SL. Proton Rockets gives him a cheap way to do that. At 34 you could run him with SL and Procket... But I still prefer outmanuver + EU and then Procket if I have 3 pts. A 3 dice swing in your favor for 3pts is hard to pass on.

I used to run SL vader with Stabber, PTL Turr, and an Alpha. Was a great list back in wave 2 and is a great learner list.

I disagree with that 3 without are better than 2 with..

You aren't allowed to disagree about this. The math indisputably says that you are wrong.

I can prove that wrong in 1 night... math wing might look good on paper but fails in real life.. it's proven every game that is played... statistics are good over time, but fail miserably in single situations... I know ... it happens all the time..

Sorry, not a maths fan.. it fails.. time and time again...

And it's people like you that keep casinos in business. You have no clue what you're talking about, but feel free to keep making poor decisions because it "feels right".

But it is only psychological.

If you roll 2 dice and reroll one, you are effectively rolling 3 dice, just not at once. But what makes rolling 3 dice better is that you can have 3 hits, where 2+reroll is still stuck at 2 hit max. It's not even math, it's just logic.

Offensively speaking, you are better with the Alpha over the BSP+Predator. The only difference is that you are PS1 instead of 4, but gain the boost action.

Dice are dice and anyone that really believes they can tell me what will happen in one nights game.. well you said it yourself.. you have no clue.. one night will not conform to long shot statistics..

Sure roll a die a thousand times and you may find the standard or average.. whatever.. but please.. don't tell me those stats work in one night, like I said I'll prove it wrong every time.. and I know you have too, but go ahead and cling to the delusion of the stats..

I'm sure others have see the same thing, as I know many have complained about bad dice rolling nights... to say otherwise is denying the truth.

Oneway, it's not math, it's not average, it's not denying the truth or whatever, it's just what it is.

If you roll 2 dice with a possible reroll of one dice there is two outcome:

1- you roll 2 hits and keep it as it is.

2- you roll zero or one hit. In that case you reroll one die.

In scenario 1, you rolled 2 dice and that's it. In scenario 2, you rolled a total of 3 dice but can only keep the 2 best result.

If you roll 3 dice without reroll, you roll a total of 3 dice and keep all the results.

I just can't see how you can argue that 3 attack dice is not better than 2 with 1 reroll. It's psychological, you see the reroll as a safety net against a bad roll but always rolling one more dice do exactly that, except better, because there will be times where you'll roll 3 hits, something that can't happen with 2 dice. See it like when you roll 3 dice, you include the reroll in your initial roll but keep all the outcome.

Well.. I just dont care anymore. Sorry, it's not your comments or perigines really.. I am tired of all, the math wing crap.. but I just found out a good friend died and my night sorta got worse. So I'm kinda done here.. I know what I know, and i have disproved stats time and time again.... and people are free to disagree with me... it won't change anything....

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm sure all the community is with you here.

Merci, mon ami..
