I think paired with Tactics Aragorn and Hama, Mablung could be a beast. Throw in a few Westfold outriders, then play thicket of spears recycle with Hama. Throw Gondorian fire and Blood of Numenor on Mablung. Make the other deck Eowyn, Haldir and Sam, add in a few Stand and Fights, awesome deck I think.
Nin-in-Eilph spoiler
I can see him as an agressive multisphere hero.
to recycle the Westfold outriders...
...and he can actually be a good friend with a crowd of Harbor Masters ![]()
I have never really seen Harbor Masters be effective, maybe this will help...
Also remembered that tactics ally in lost realm, Dunedain hunter was it? Can pull an ally to you in planning phase. Between that, Aragorn and other cards like outrider or hammer stroke it may not be terribly difficult to get 3 resources on him every few turns

When VOI originally released I made a mono-lore doomed deck with Grima where Harbor Master was an all star. Bifur and keys of Orthanic made an easy +2 defense then 3 copies of resourceful which weren't terribly hard to pay for with the aforementioned keys and Grima
I wonder if Theoden and Mablung were originally switched? (In box, not ability.)
Here's the rest of the spoilers I could find, no pictures I'm afraid, and obviously all translated from German text

He needs some pre-setup to be effective. I used a trio of Gloin, Theodred and Bifur in my Harbor Master deck, as all of them contain an "add a resource" mechanic within themselves. So, in a perfect turn, Harbor Master gets +3 defense, 1 from questing Theodred, 1 from Gloin getting hit and 1 from Bifur grabbing someone's resource. If I was lucky enough to draw Steward of Gondor, then they were minimum 3 per turn, with potential for more. If you're not afraid of threat, then Legacy of Numenor instantly gratns +3 Defense to every of your Master's, that's aside from 3 resources, of course ![]()
And I always kept those Envoys for some spontaneous defense boost if needed.

I'm afraid, Resourceful does not triggers the Harbor Master's ability. Resourceful makes hero "collect 1 additional resource", which does not equals "adding".
Considering that the first text on Mablung was "after you optionally engage an enemy..." I think he's pretty decent. On tougher scenarios this could mean 1 extra resource each turn, which is not bad, and the stats are also nice. I really like the rest of the cards, especially tighten the belt, celduin traveler and defender of the west.
I wonder whats that Traveler's stat box is. I hope he has at least 2 wp and 2 hp.
I like him. I like seeing a well-rounded stat hero for Tactics and I think his ability is going to prove pretty useful, especially in enemy-heavy scenarios. Pretty excited to get my hands on him in a few months (I don't expect to get the pack until Christmas or just after).
The archer and bow are great!!!
Defender of the west is pretty interesting... Seems made for the Borormir ally but also works great with elfhelm or gildor as well. Even if you don't defend with them you can use gildor or elfhelms (or actually erestor too) ability on that players turn but you can also sacrifice them to any nasty undefended attacks, they may even live if it isn't much damage! Especially gildor and boromir wit their high hitpoints. Seems best on gildor to be honest.. Hmm even for just the ability to let an ally fall from a Nasty undefended attack and the possibility of having gildor or elfhelms ability open to both players seems very alluring and may result In me using this card and putting these two great allies back in my decks as well (already run boromir ally).
Hopefully we get some other great ally versions of the fellowship that are unique (gimli legolas etc) or even just cool new unique allies I'm future APs/the next deluxe that have cool effects or good defensive abilities that this attachment can enchance and provide to the first player each turn!
I have asked the person (Craddle) who posted the spoiler of Mablung on his blog if he had the other spoilers for us.
He said he had to ask Heidelbären first. (They represent FFG on the event SPIEL, where Nin-In-Eilph is for sale apparantly..)
Edited by gandalfDKAgree with you Psychorocka, I'd like to have more unique allies in general.
Mablung looks awesome to me. Built-in resource generation for Tactics (meaning you start with it and don't need another card to get it, like Horn of Gondor). Works especially well if he's the only Tactics hero in your deck.
Edited by Raven1015Given the amount of hit points, Defender of the West would actually work best with Beorn. It could also be an option to chump block one or two (low) attacks with Elrond, Galadriel or Gandalf after they already exhausted for questing.
My favorite card here is Bow of the Galadhrim. I've been waiting for a really good weapon to put on Legolas and Haldir to boost their attack by 2. Rivendell Blade is nice, but sometimes I'd rather have +attack and if you have a deck with both Legolas and Haldir in a deck, then you'll want more weapons so they can each hold 2 and this provides a great answer.

And then put Horn of Gondor on him muhaha
There are some dope cards in this pack, can't wait to pick it up this weekend!

It appears you can order Nin-In-Eilph now...? Either a mistake or imminent news article/spoilers any second?
I bought this expention at the SPIEL 2014 in Essen this weekend as you can see in my blogpost so i guess it will be for sale this week.
Hoping this one is on the challenging side and we get to face some tough swamp creatures.

Oh if only you would know the main enemy in this quest can reach beast mode very quickly and kill your characters one by one every turn.
