Really good card. Lately the art for the female characters are a little......provocative
Nin-in-Eilph spoiler
Sometimes i keep Steward of Gondor out. Depends how thematic Im trying to keep it. Its usually overkill, but without it i run into issues sometimes.

Provocative? I think we must have very different definitions of the word. There's nothing provocative about presenting a female elf (fully clad no less) as beautiful. It would be betraying the accuracy of the source material to do otherwise.

lol what? I would rather say the artwork on this card is the polar opposite of the word "provocative".
He's easterling. She has revealed face and some bare skin on her arms. That's provocative enough for them, I guess.
Yeah, I commend LotR LCG for being one of the least sexualized games out there.
I don't think Easterlings would mind it. My guess is that he's an Orc who likes fat, juicy women and finds them provocatively skinny, in his Men-eating opinion.
Its not that bad.....I'm just saying they seem to always make sure to get plenty of skin showing if you know what I mean. I just think the big cut in the dress is....................... i'll stop here. I'm not going to make an issue out of it.
Even better, with tri-sphere being the standard and Oh!Lorien, I find myself not using Steward of Gondor at all, even solo! I wonder if I am the only one.
I have very few decks running the Steward of Gondor, because I really like to play multiplayer (3/4 if possible) I think the card should only be included if you need it. So if a deck doesn't need it I leave it out such that other players could make use of him. Something that occurs very often with 4 players.
Next to that, nothing is that annoying as having 2 stewards in hand while you cannot play them because someone else allready played one....
I didnt suggest that it would have no ability. In fact I would be very surprised if it did not havean enters play ability.
Sorry my mistake.

That's what cards like Eowyn, Daeron's Runes, Erestor, and Protector of Lorien are for. Erestor would work especially well for you since you're definitely playing Leadership at that point.

Agreed, but I would like to see a few more looters. The two Noldor warriors are so bad that I don't count them.

What? You mean her elbows and neck? Oh please.

I LAUGH at this. This image is from a Chilean TCG called Mitos y Leyendas. This is Genzoman's interpretation of Sherezade:

Yeah, the same Genzoman famous for his fanart and work with WoW and such. This was perfectly fine some 6 years ago or so, I still don't know how they got away with this, but my point is, you're overreacting.
Provacative? Hmmmm....nope. don't see it at all
I think the crux is whether or not she is wearing leggings or not. (Not to me mind, I want to collect Gizlivadi's game.)

Oh my gosh.....its hilarious....so funny......whatever.....
I believe people should dress modestly and although the new elf card is not a big deal and it's fine, I hope it doesn't get more than that. You people may or may not enjoy/think it fine seeing pictures like Gizlivadi posted. That is for you to decide. That's all I have to say.
Edited by Khamul The EasterlingMy biggest dissapointment with the game is that Magali Villeneuve will never draw lewd Ghalandriel x Arwen yuri so that I can put it on my playmat.
And of course she is wearing leggings.
I see things differently. I don't believe a woman has to be sexless in order to have power or independence. I don't think strength and attractiveness (or even 'sexiness') are mutually exclusive. I've seen on the Internet recently people getting a little crazy about 'sexualised' content in games/films when really there is nothing there. Concerning the depiction of women, I think we have far worse things to worry about then a billowing hemline. Women are women, they shouldn't always have to cover up that fact.
Totally respect Khamul's opinion. Just thought I'd give my own.
I think Khamul mistakenly thinks she doesn't have leggings on where her skirt parts... she does! Unless she's from a race of elves that has brown legs and white faces....
Grey Company spoiled another card from Nin-in-Eilph:

You can listen to their thoughts here:

Personally I think it's incredibly useless unless you have a doomed deck and you just really want another doomed card. If you want an ally, Erebor Hammersmith is infinitely better. If you want to cancel threat in the staging area, secret paths and Radagast's cunning are cheaper and give you more flexibility.
I would be shocked if I ever used this card. I appreciate them trying to make more niche cards that work in some decks but not all. Unfortunately this and several others are too niche to ever be used.
Well, at least his optional doom is 1. Btw, he has an axe but his attack is 0, whats wrong with you FFG?!(joke of course)
And his trait box... wow. Just wow.
I wanted to say that with how important locations are becoming lately, this might seem some play but 2 resources for a base 1 wp and 2 HP are really lackluster. Plus what's with the Woodman trait?
Unfortunately, this one seems like a dud. They can't all be winners.
It seems to me that he was designed as a Isengard Messenger's best friendsie.
Just think of it: You got your beloved Isengard Messenger on the board, you play Mirkwood Pioneer and trigger his doomed ability, choosing as a target:

Isengard Messenger gets +1 Willpower, and Staging Area gets -10 Threat. Player: 1, Encounter Deck: 0.
Then, you play something else doomed, and Isengard Messenger gets one more point of Willpower. And then you quest with BOTH Isengard Messenger and Mirkwood Pioneer for a WHOPPING 4 Willpower! U jelly, Eowyn?
Edited by MyNeighbourTrololoCombos like these break the game. I miss the dwarves who were balanced and fun!
