This is the kinda list I like...

That's one heck of a glass cannon. It looks like a ton of fun to fly, though!

Glass cannon? With 3 Hull and 3 Shield...I'd say that's pretty far from being a glass cannon, especially when flown correctly...by that I mean kept at R3 with 4 greens and 5 red

I like it! But I would rather go...

Krassis + HLC + Opportunist + Recon Specialist

Royal Guard Pilot + Stealth Device + Vet. Instincts

Royal Guard Pilot + Stealth Device + Vet. Instincts

100 Pts.

Except it would be cheating as Krassis is not allowed an EPT :(

But one can dream for the future :)

Interceptors don't have shields!

OGP with FCS is super cheap and works great with Vessery too if you want to afford a hull on a RGP.

For this list I'd sub a proton rocket and a sheild upgrade for HLC on the big man. More durability and when you rush or get rushed you unload 5 dice with TL and focus and have the extra sheild. Get out of arc and watch V one shot or at least sheild strip every ship in the game.

Lol no they don't but the defender does...

Only downside is the OGP fires last making his FCS useless within the same turn with Vessery, the thing about 6-6-6 is you pick the order in which they fire

this would be the only reason I put a Targeting computer on a Squint..

Looks like a fun list though

I like it.

I think that I would go for Outmaneuver over Opportunist because defenders don't handle stress that well.

Have the interceptors and Vessery approach from different sides. Do they shoot at the HLC that penalizes their defense dice and ignore 2 interceptors? Or do the get the interceptors and get hammered by a HLC?

Agree with using Outmaneuver as well. You also get around the C-3P0 problem that everyone is crying about.

Dang. And I had just put Vessery to the side in my "probably never use" pile...

Good but wiping that opportunist stress off is gonna suck. Straight moves only? Ow.

12 life (3 Shield, 9 Hull) combined.

Ouch.

Looks fun though.

You really have to hope your green dice are hot.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! Outmaneuver definitely does seem like a more logical route and will definitely be tested! But I'm more excited to see what psychological effect Opportunist has...I'm not saying this is a top tier list by any means because of such low health but think it's worth getting some table time!

The bigger concern is that you have 12 total HP and once you lose your Squints Vessery will drop fairly fast and lose some damage output

I'm a huge fan of Vessery. I really like your build here. I'm a big proponent of bringing something that can take a punch though.

I usually bring a big white antelope to take some beatings. So if I were to do this list, I'd use Outmaneuvre, as I've had great luck with it on Vessery, and especially against B Wings and YT's, and MOST especially if you can squeeze in a cluster missiles for Vessery. That one is hilarious, three target locks in a turn with zero evade dice against your 6 reds. You probably won't get the Focus action in on it, but you can reroll anything, so might be sweet. I've done a whopping 5 hits with it on a YT turn 2.

The White Antelope I usually set with a FCS, so it can Focus on the approach and use that for the attack, get the lock, and hold it for vessery. It does a decent amount of damage, just good luck turning it around.

I really like the Royal Guard and PtL. That works really nice.

After a little deliberation about the low HP of the squad I decided to field the following this Friday...

Colonel Vessery - 35

Veteran Instincts - 1

Rexler Brath - 37

Predator - 3

Omicron Group Pilot - 21

Darth Vader - 3
