I know about 20 people who play in my area. About another 20 players are my friends in other parts of the UK.

NONE of us have ever seen the mythical biggles card. Even if it is a case of US editions being shipped over i'd expect at least one of us to have a UK edition.

Then think of the logisitics to FFG. Think of the cost of doing a reprint in 'UK english', it makes no sense when the same 'US English' set can go out to canada, australia, UK, Ireland etc etc. Surely you'd print a Dutch or other language you cant sell to first.

I'll believe it exists when a UK player shows me one in person, too easy to PS a fake one in to a photo.

It also makes no sense as the character isnt called 'biggles darklighter' in any of the existing SW mythos

It only makes sense if you want to make a joke about it.

I was just annoyed I claimed to have read about it and than being unable to show it. So there it is.

Reading about Biggles is nostalgia for me so I was an easy victim of wishfull thinking!

I've noticed that I get a lot of Dutch-speaking visitors in my stats. Is X-Wing available in Dutch or do you use the English version (I've yet to meet a Dutch person who can't speak better English than me, so I wouldn't be surprised)?

Thanks guys. I'm working with volunteers to make my squadron builder localised for every country where the game is released in a different language. Wasn't sure if I'd missed Holland.

And Biggles is real. They come up for trade on Ebay sometimes. Keep an eye out!

I could definitely help you out with Dutch if you want, although i agree it isnt totally necessary for most Dutch players.
