Focus every round for defence and then pray when the enemy opens fire.

How do you think it will work?

This reminds me of the first of the Imdaar Alpha tournaments I went to on a friday. I was, I think, one of the only swarm players who went in there with a list that did wonders in the early waves of the game.

The only win I got away with was when my opponent's firespray hit a rock, and my 1HP tie that was left survived.

Since then I've never trusted my agility dice completely.

So, be careful :)

Apparently we've never met.

I just don't think you'll be putting out enough offense to offset how fragile this list is.

Doomed to fail you cant trust green dice ever, little buggers just wait to back stab you then rob you as you lie bleeding.

Don't trust in greens. I used to do that. Until my Defender with a stealth device was blown up in 3 shots.

This list will probably have some issues because of the heavy emphasis on upgrades, not necessarily because of the reliance on green dice. 8 TIEs would almost certainly be a better squad, in both firepower and durability.

Yeah, I'd rather take 8 naked TIEs any day of the week. You've spent 30 points on upgrading 5 TIEs to still only roll 3 attack and 3/4 defense. I'd rather spend those points to get 3 extra TIE fighters.

it should be mathswinger...THERE IS AN S!!!!!

"Mathswinger", is that like Swing dancing while Mathing X-wing? my head might explode.

No its someone who has a cage attached to the ceiling via some chains, usually leather straps are involved somewhere, you need the maths to calculate the proper position.

I would like to thank every one for their input on this list.

Looks like fun, I'd fly it! Although, my personal preference would be to ditch the Stealth Devices for another B. Squadron.

I thought of that but I would not be able to put Predator on it, My OCD does not approve of this. They must all Match.

<Starts giggling manicly>

Maybe switch the stealth devices for hull upgrade and see if you can fit Dark Curse in there. I also think its a risky strategy, but if you're going to trust green dice, DC is excellent for this role. My last game, he soaked up 8 attacks before suffering his first damage on the 9 th attack*.

*Results may vary ;)

No, it's math, not maths: you're selectively omitting letters from the word that makes no sense.

:P

My problem with the list is how it does not take advantage of the pshychological effect of stealth device. Since stealth device only works until until it gets hit, it works best when it is discouriging people from shooting at a target as well as giving its other bonuses. But since everyone has it, you are just encoirigeing you opponent to concentrate fire, something you don't want them to do.

I would replace the stealth devices with hull upgrades.

I also prefer stealth devices on Interceptors, since Interceptors can do damage without spending their action on offense (unlike TIEs) they can take evades, evade + 4 dice is pretty hard to hit. 4 dice by itself really isn't.
