I'm going to be at my first local tournament in Toronto next weekend. I won't have all that much time to practice lists and I'm not worried about winning but I would like to get my money's worth and survive a few rounds. The following ships are what I want to fly, in some combination, for theme, fun, comfort, and experience.

I kind of like the first one but I do suck with shuttles so there's some bias there.

I do like the first list. I don't get a lot of upgrades in it, though.

Well, if it was me I'd go with the first but that is primarily because I haven't mastered shuttle manoeuvring- if I have two shuttles on the board, I wouldn't get many shots away and I'd lose horribly.

If you are good with shuttles, the third could be a monster to face.

Yeah it's not that I think the shuttle's a poor ship it's just alien to how I use every other ship I own, and the firespray so compatible with my beloved defenders.

That's true. I wanted to try stress shuttle but maybe doom plus a simple Kath and Echo will be formidable. I did play once with this list. I chose Whisper and she died immediately. I always fly Echo and made a mistake with Whisper. Kath and Vader popped fat chewie, though!

I went with the first list tonight and did well. I squealed when Kath's ability triggered several times. Yay dice! Kath plus Tactician really lays down the stress.

I popped my Doomshuttle a little early, I think. I used his ability twice, the second time just to strip the last shield off a defender.
