Do you drink and fly at the table?

I prefer a cup of tea.

-Dragonsmilk beer. That stuff is strong.

I miss living in Michigan. I don't even know where to start looking for a bourbon barrel-aged stout in Kansas... although something tells me the answer is probably "Colorado".

Cavattica Stout out of Fort George Brewing in Astoria Oregon is getting a lot of product out (in 20oz cans). If you're a strong stout kinda beer drinking it should be on your radar! If you can find the bourbon aged ones (not in cans) at a "fancy" beer place you should buy them immediately.

Although note that it's something like a 9% ABV, while being VERY tasty (if you like those heavier stouts), so be careful with it - it can really bite ya if you aren't paying attention!

Sadly, I don't think you'll be able to find it on tap anywhere outside of the immediate pacNW, and it definitely suffers a bit for being canned, but it's still a good choice...

I play x-wing at a friends house, and even though there is always beer in the fridge I never touch it. I don't know why, but I have 0 desire to drink while playing x-wing.

The gym I lift at however, has a bar in it, and I will go out back to smoke cigarettes or get a beer mid workout sometimes.

Hell yes! On a particularly hot summer day, my friend and I polished off nine beers each over the course of a three hour gaming session.

Typically, most people lose count after 8!!! :D Or did you count the empties the next day! LOL!

We have the beverage fridge in the room next door to our game room in the basement! Once everything is setup, (we just moved in), the beverages of choice will be flowing!

I don't drink alcohol, but I always play with a glass of water on hand, no matter what I am playing.

As for food, I generally play with my family, and we always have food. It is kept away from the games in order to protect the components, though. Go to the counter to eat, come back to game.

Beer in... cans? They better have widgets, or else they're not worth drinking. Real beer is bottled.

I intend to get blind drunk and accidentally smash all my opponents Phantoms, next time I see any! :D

I generally either play at home (where I have beer) or at our local club (which has a bar). So yes.

We have an upcoming tournament in the Monteiths brewery, which is good for me given that my current drink of choice is Monteiths Black.

There is also less spill when filling cans at the factory, so craft brewers waste less. Bottles = spilled beer.

And that breaks the most important commandment "thou shalt not spill"

To answer the question: yes, but no alcohol myself (could have something to do with the fact I am not of the legal drinking age yet). Other members at the table do, though. 2 beer limit because everyone has to drive home afterward.

Right. Just because a beer is made by a craft brewery does not automatically make it worth drinking, or even palatable for that matter. I don't care how many low-rent manufacturers are cramming their swill into a can, bottles are still the best way to package and drink a beer.

Also: it looks like a rack full of energy drinks in that picture. Does anyone recognize a single one of those beers?

This. The best beers are craft beers IME, but that doesn't mean that all (or even most) craft beers are good. I've tasted some that are horrendous. If you think a beer is good just because it's brewed on a small scale it doesn't make you a beer connoisseur, it just makes you a hipster. (Not that I'm claiming to be a connoisseur either, btw)

Hipsters where? Release the hounds.
