Imperial Boba beats scum sucking Boba, assuming otherwise identical loadout. Although I think it would be close, I'm sure in time these forums and the intertubes in general will be full of the epic struggles betwixt Bobas.

It's because of the chronology that they didn't do this, Jango was dead 13 years before this game is set.

Theirs abilities are both very useful, but the imperial one is better in a 1vs1 situation...
In a standard battle I'll go with the scum one...

Depends who moves first. If scum boba moves first then imperial boba should have a slight edge, other way around scum gets the edge.

You see this is what i dislike the most about pick up/tourny games where you play 'a list' vs 'a list',stuff like this happens and 'poof' the star wars magic goes for me when a named character fights himself... i can just about suspend my disbelief over rebel vs rebel or imp vs imp by saying its a training exercise or one side are defecting (you can tell im a narrative player).
I know hardly anyone who has *only* one faction and i think a good event would be one where you have to take 100 points (or whatever) of each faction and have a rebel *and* and imperial list.
If both players are equal in wins to date you dice off to see who gets to play which side, if its mid tounry the player doing the least well gets to pick first.
I think it would be loads more satisfying.
I *really* hate seeing named characters fighting their own buddies let alone themselves 
I love the SaV Boba, Imperial Boba is almost useless, until now I don't play with him, I prefer Kath, so I love the SaV boba, greettings.

Jodo Kast actively impersonated Boba Fett. Boba Fett eventually killed him.
