Avg # of rounds in a game?

Just curious, but what's the average number of rounds in a game? I know it varies based on various factors, but using chess as an example, the average chess match is 40 turns (10 for the opening; 20 for the middlegame; and 10 for the endgame).

The opening is when position is being developed; the middlegame is when pieces are exchanged; and the endgame is when there are few pieces are left on the board.

Based on that, what's your average game look like?

10ish probably

Seven to ten sounds right.

Around 10, in my experience.

There's no real average, it really depends but it in my experience about 10.

Interesting topic. I will try and keep an eye in my next few games.

I'd say 1-2 rounds for opening, sometimes 3 if you set up in opposite corners.

Shots are sometimes exchanged in round 2/3 but rarely do pieces go down until the second round of shooting, so round 3/4. I'd say that it often takes until round 7 or 8 before the decision seems to be made.

That said, it's never a guarantee. I had a guy lament that he was out of it the other night, and I had very strong positioning on him for most of the game. However, he got good dice rolls and I bad when we needed them, and in the end it came down to his Soontir chasing my Whisper around. I had 3 health to his 1 to start, but soon he took me to 1 health, before making a mistake that allowed me to get whisper to range 1 on his tail. Endgame, I barely won though from early on you would have guessed I had a sure victory.

7-10 rounds for most 100 pointers is the endgame.
