I'm playtesting one of these on Vassal tonight. I'm most curious about a 3 ship version using black squad wingman.

I tried the 3 ship variant

Patrol Leader Gunner, Engine

Dogfighter Shuttle Sensors, Engine HLC

Black Squadron Wingman

vs

2a2b and Tarn r/7

In the end it was tarn at 2hp and a blue at 1 vs the Patrol leader. Tarn managed to kill the patrol leader who simulfire killed the Blue.

Exciting game. Engine adds a lot to the Decimator but I feel like I might drop to a buzzsaw for Rebel Captive. If it's 2 ships I need the HLC but I want to be able to utilize stress late game a little better.

what about leading with the shuttle on the joust, letting in soak up some intial hits, then pulling a stall and letting the decimator sling shot past it? If they want to finish off the shuttle, they put themselves between the guns of both of your big boys. Another option might be DTF on a shuttle.

Can you get EPTs on Lambdas? Even if you could I might do it the other way: DTF on the VT.
