There will be no reason to ever field Ten Numb again once Rebel Aces is out. He will be in the Maarek Stele and Fel's Wrath camp.
You might want to fly multiple elite BWings? Unless you mean "competitively"?

Yeah competitivley in a 100 point list. No reason to ever take him.

Was there ever? Always seemed a bit pricey for what you get, to me. That said Keyan seems... like super good value (to put it mildly) to me, so I dunno.

Etahn w/ R2 Astromech and PTL
Ten Numb w/ VI
Wedge w/ R7-T1
As long as Etahn has someone in his sights (within Range 1-3) then Ten Numb will get a crit through every time he doesn't miss with everything. That's worth using him right there.
I don't think you can use Ten Numb with just the alt card in a non-casual setup, since you would also need the ship token, which doesn't come with Rebel Aces.
In a casual setting you could've played it already
I've got a friend that has about 3 B-wings. I'm sure he could give me the cardboard counter for him.
I made a thread about this:
I'll say it again, people should be extremely excited about the possibilities from Rebel Aces. It is literally a game-changing expansion.
The rumor mill says that the Rebel Aces expansion is due out end of September or first week of October.
Three cheers for that news
Hip, hip, hooray!!!

Though I'll have to wait for the YT-2400 expansion aswell, I'm really looking forward to playing Tycho Celchu with both PtL and daredevil aswell as experimental interface at 33pts with chardaan refit. Go ahead and try some test maneuvering with him - he's hilariously mobile while retaining the ability to focus and potentially target lock or evade aswell.

I get how he could boost, turn and focus (
), but how would he get the fourth action to target lock or evade?

Didn't mean to say that he could take all four actions, but from experimenting with it I felt he was often maneuverable enough without boost, so that he could 'potentially' target lock or evade on top of focus often enough.
Of course having just 2 attack at 33pts - same regime as soontir - does hurt but he IS able to pull off some neat tricks that no one else can. Like arc-dodging and attacking an opponent who's right on his tail. So he may have his place as long as he's not up against turrets or lots of >8 PS.
Not just the refit to make A-wings cheaper, but also the Test Pilot (for free) that gives you an elite pilot skill. This means Arvil Crynyd w/ Intimidation getting to bump into someone and firing 3 red dice vs -1 green die...and not getting shot back. Oh, and at -2 more points. That pays for Intimidation.
This was the first thing I wanted to try when the cards were all spoiled, I thought about how great he was going to be against Fat Falcons, and Agi 2 or lower ships. Then I ran him with this set up in a local league (Aces and Wave 5 proxies allowed as it's for possible World's prep), and while it would have been killer to get him in with the Fat Chewie my opponent was running, he pretty much spent the entire game chasing it around. It's still a wash on points with the refit, so if you can afford the 23 points by all means, but I'm not sure it's going to be as good as I originally thought it was.
But I want Keyan in a Y-wing! He's most known for flying in a Y-wing, AND being the only Y-wing pilot to survive the Death Star run!
:(
I dunno, the only time he was referred to in DIALOG (that I recall) was in context of B-Wings...
...I mean, yeah, he's technically the "player character" throughout the entire X-Wing series, but the games (outside of that cutscene from the 'B-Wing' expansion) never actually make any reference to that - you had to read the strategy guide to know it.

Doesn't mean they'll never put him in one. Sure we haven't had any ships with the same pilot as another but there's crew that have the same name as Pilots so perhaps one day.
Lots of goodies in this set. I'm liking how well Katarn and Ores work together in the Moldy Crow whether one or the other is the pilot.
