I'm on the fence about worlds this year. I know it will be a great time and I'll get to meet all kinds of the worlds best players, but not sure I want to spend the money to go. I was fortunate enough to pick up Wave 5 at GenCon and have loved playing with the cards and ships that have come from that wave. If I knew wave 5 would be legal it would help me make my choice. How about you guys, are you going to worlds?

I'd love to go, but prior commitments will likely interfere. Just as they did with GenCon, actually, and I'm fairly frustrated about missing both.

Due to income problems and myself and some friends in the process of starting a business I don't think I will make it this year but some people I play with want to go. I plan to go next year as well as to nationals if possible.

Hmm I only live in Fargo which is about 3 1/2 hours drive away... And I know a lot of people who live in the Twin Cities that I could stay at...

But I don't know if I can pay $40 to get stomped lol. I could use that money on all the new ships that still have to come out! (Or my wedding... )

I'll be going and am very much looking forward to it, though like Hexis, am pretty close. Normally it's a forty minute drive across the Twin Cities which seems like a lot, but for World's it can't get much better.

No, not really that cold. Between -3C and 5C on average (I just checked), tho Worlds is early, so it's going to be on warmer side since that's a monthly average. The good news is buildings are much easier to heat than keep cool, so the Game Center will be comfortable regardless of the outside temperature.

The FFG Game Center has good food options on site, and there are a lot of restaurants super close.

I wish I could go. It is too far and I am far too broke.

If only it was on a Holiday weekend...or one of the qualifying flights was on a Saturday...

I am almost regretting taking that extra vacation day to drive to Gencon on Wednesday morning, instead of just driving in at 11pm...
