If you have noone to play X-Wing with how about u play Resident Evil?

By Black Knight Leader, in X-Wing

IM really sorry for making this topic here BUT we dont have an off topic... Anyway the HD Remake of the GameCube Remake of 1st Resident Evil will be coming out by the begining of 2015. Untill it comes out Capcom has made a mini Resident Evil game called "Resident Evil Raccoon City Contagion" you can register using your email, facebook, or twitter account.

Heres the real cool thing about this game, if we make Raccoon city have a 100% infection rating we people that registred through this game will get free DLC for the HD Remake remake Resident Evil. JFYI Its coming out for the 7th & 8th gen Xbox and Playstation.

AJFYI Every diffrent platform version of a RE game has had something diffrent in it, RE1 for Sega Saturn had Tick Enemies, RE2 Computer had infected Zoo animals, RE Remake on WII had silent sections with the Chimera. If we all play this mini game we could make these true 7th gen versions really diffrent than its 6th and 6.5 versions.

Ps FFG you should make Resident Evil board games with the Mansions Of Madness mechanics. That WOULD BE SWEET!!!!!

Cool. I will stick to X-Wing. :)

Game cube resident evil best game ever on the platform, after Eternal Darkness of course.

If they could repeat the same in a board game count me in.....in fact how about Eternal Darkness, the board game.

Sounds cool, wife loves resident evil, but I'll be getting destiny on ps4 Tuesday so that'll take up any time I have left

Buuuuuut you could play both. Take a portable Xbox 360 with you to the store and everytime its your enemies turn you can unpause your Resident Evil game and get down to business using your combat knife on some ZoooooOOObieEEeeessss! If there are young players at the store you can tell them your playing a "mellon baller" simulator =p

Never heard of Eternal Darkness, was that ever a VHS interactive board game like "Rap Rat?" Rap Rat is on "Creepy Pasta wiki." Whatever your idea for a Eternal Darkness as a board game sounds great even though I dont know what it is XD

Sounds cool, wife loves resident evil, but I'll be getting destiny on ps4 Tuesday so that'll take up any time I have left

But Vader says your Destiny is to play the HD Remake Remake Resident Evil 1 at his side. You'll be Jill Valentine. Don't fell bad it could be worse, you could be Richard ; )

Eternal darkness was awesome....

Never played a game that screwed so hard with my bead before or since...

Shame silicon knights is no more

Have they finally changed the controls to the over-the-shoulder view from Resident Evil 4, or are we still stuck with cameras wedged in the walls and characters that can't aim up without wasting four bullets on the ceiling?

Because man do I hate the old control scheme.

You might feel better if you have a Jill sandvich :)

It was over the shoulder in RE5 and RE6 although it sucked in RE6 because the controls changed with the camera view getting you killed easily.

In the HD Remake of RE1 they said there giving the option to play the game with the tank controls or the current style.

JSA I dont know what your aiming up at but if its at Zombie heads in the gamecube / WII Resident Evil remake I thought you should know aiming down at there knees and blowing there legs off with a shot gun keeps them from becoming Red Terrors.

If your aiming at crows your better off runing past them. Most Moths also.

This just in Raccoon City has a infection % of 39. We got to bite more people!!!

JFYI im a Zombie Cop that was infected in the sewers of Raccoon City. My name is Mr. Hand, named after the knife using alien of "Dark City."

I almost only use a knife in Resident Evil, even killed MI-03 the Shark with just a knife. Only the greatest survivors use knives. Brock Sampson uses only a knife, its his field kit, Jack Burtton is also an expert with a knife, and you know what good old Jack Burtton says at time like this, when the pillers of heaven shake and on a dark and stormy night? Jack always says "What the Hell."

Hey I liked Dark city the movie, and really like Resident evil, however I'm unsure of what your speaking of, give some more details Black Knight ?

Also enjoy the Big trouble in little china talk.

Unfortunately I cant give a link BUT Capcom is making a HD Remake of the gamecube Resident Evil 1 game. Its for the 7th and 8th gen Xbox and PS. Besides the HD enhancements it will have other features that will make it diffrent than the gamecube and archieve / WII versions. JFYI the WII version has diffrent stuff in it compared too the gamecube.

All that being said and done capcom made a mini Resident Evil game called "Resident Evil Raccoon City Contagion." Look it up with a search app. Capcom said that if we infect 100% of Raccoon City in this mini game they will give everyone who registered to play it FREE DLC for the HD Remake of the gamecube Resident Evil 1. It is unknown what the dlc is YET BUT we can only ge it if we did the beforementioned requirements.

The updates for the mini game are funny and each person that registers gets a custom tag that has your handle, type of Zombie, and how you were infected written on it.

And as IVE said before I would love for FFG to make a Resident Evil game with the mechanics of "Mannsions of Madness." If FFG sees us, Just like Sutter Kane, taikng about how much we like Resident Evil they may consider making a game or at the least a Resident Evil addon for Mannsions of Madness.

You know what Jack Burtton what say to news like that? "Yes sir the check is in the mail!"

In fact I am now looking for my old game cube, so I can play it all again(3 times for each colour)

Thanks for the heads up. I actually hadn't heard of such, but I looked it up, and registered for the contagion. Apparently, I'm Mr Grim, a scientist who was checking some of the bodies at the stadium when I was bitten. Psyched up for the HD remaster of the cube Resident Evil, it is in fact my favorite game series so hopefully enough people will register to get the extra items.

So not X wing in this thread, but still nice for me. As well, a Resident evil board game could be pretty cool. I did somewhat enjoy the deck builder game that was made for it.

Eternal darkness is the creepiest game I have ever played, amazing storyline and a Cthulhu mythos undertone, just superb.

Hey Ashley if you get he classic vertical standing WII it can play your Gamecube games. I was checking in at Gamestop look at "ALIEN ISOLATION" stuff and I noticed they were selling that version of WII for $79.00

What ever you do dont buy the WII that sits more horozontally, it cant play game cube games. If your handeling the system youll know your SUPER GREEN if it has ports for gamecube controllers. They r hidden, ask rep if it has them.

Oh no, Mr. Grim and Mr. Quick are no more... Poor poor Mr. Quick and Mr. Grim ; )

IM so happy about the HD remake of Resident Evil AND Scum and Villany I think IM gonna have to break dance to IM Han Solo or Thriller. Which ever plays first XD

Did you ever read the Resident Evil novels? The gamecube remake has lots of stuff from the novels in it. I loved the first one the most.

Ps checkout youtube, someone beat the gamecube remake on "True Survivor" without saving nor using trunks period and I think they still beat it fast enough to get the RocketLawnChair and the Samuri Edge pistol.

I love watch people play RE on twich esp during the Halloween season. Saw a guy rage quit on Resident Evil 0.

No.

No.

Yeeeessssss we are at 41% infection rate =]

You know I didn't even think about the fact my Res net name was Mr Grim could also sound like a Dark City ref, it wasn't based off of that however, its another online moniker I use, however it is based off of Mr Grim from twisted metal black, because he got to in the end, share a meal with an old friend ( If anyone gets the irony, you earn one free cookie, with zombie disease for free ) However, glad to accidently fit into the Dark City theme.

I did however read some of the novels. I thought I was the only one. I read up to Resident evil 3, I believe there was 4 or 5 books in that line up to that point ? Res evil 1, a book in between 1 and 2, then 2, then if there was one between 2 and 3, that one, then 3. I did enjoy them and at the time I had played a lot of res evil, so I could even judge some authenticity, and notice where they had bodies or zombies where there weren't any in the game ( I know, too much time spent )

Sweet, I've just run some speed runs, though rusty speed runs of Res evil 2 and 3 to show a couple friends the games a few weeks back.

Edit: I am excited with this news as well, thanks again for the heads up, If you notice any significant changes with infection rate, drop a line in room, I'll be watching, and apparently feasting on the innocent, poor Mr Grim.

Because I'm strategizing about X-wing when I'm not playing it. :P

So, become a zombie with us ? An X wing holding zombie ? Going to the game store, from which you once played, in some vague memory of life, shambling around, forever awaiting, wave 5, just a glimmer of hope in your dead eyes....

So not that different from now, just with less life.

Now remember people your only going to get the free dlc if your registered in the "Resident Evil Raccoon City Contagion!" game AND we make it to the 100% infection status, so spread that T-Virus to your friends.

Just for the hell of it IM gonna post some cool refrences you may have missised when playing Resident Evil.

*The stucture of how most RE games, as well as most first person shooters, is based on the skeletal structure of the story of the "ALIENS" movie.

*The flame thrower Chris Redfield uses underground agianst the MA - 121 Alpha Hunters, or Ticks if your playing the Sega Saturn version ;), and the "Black Tiger in every version of Resident Evil 1 appears to be based on the flame thrower from "ALIEN."

* In Resident Evil 2 the player can use a Flame thrower that looks nearly 100% like a silver plated United Americas Colonial Marine M-240 Armat Nap Flame Thrower from the movie "ALIENS."

* The Tyrants, all models, the T-Virus name, and the Tyrant designations like T-121 were created by Capcom in homage to the "T-800 Terminator."

*Going by the phone numbers written in the scenery in Raccoon City, it shares numbers with NYC, which would mean its not a MidWestern City.

* The Nemisis from Resident Evil 3 shares alot of moves with Sagat from Street Fighter. They both have the same number of offical art pieces and depict them doing the same thing, holding there killed enemies head in there left hand.

* Jills alternate costume you get for beating the gamecube Resident Evil 1 game twice on hard and or True Survivor mode is Sarah Conners outfit from "Terminator 2 Judgement Day." Capcom considers Sarah Conner to be the greatest survivor in moviedom.

*Like wise with Chris his costume is Brad Pitts outfit from "The Mexican."

*Capcom was inspired by the creator of "Night of the Living Dead" to make a Zombie survival horror game, and at the time thet had wanted ghosts to be in the game before changing the orign of the outbreak to a virual source.

* The creator of Night of the Living dead made the live action Resident Evil 2 commercial and wrote a script for a Resident Evil movie. Capcom felt his story was bad and eventully went with Andersons Resident Evil story.

* Albert Weskers apperance may be based off of "Ice Mans" from "Top Gun."

*Chris Redfield has had a vest or jacket with a Angel with the words "Made in Heaven" on the back in every version of Resident Evil 1 and every version of Code Veronica. Clare Redfield has had the same symble on her back in every version of Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica. The "Made in Heaven" patch was made in homage too the Heavy Metal Band "Queen" and is named after one of there albums of the same name.

*Billy from Resident Evil 0 has a tat with the words "Let me live" on it. Let me live is one of the tracts from the Queen album "Made in Heaven."

*S.T.A.R.S. Alpha and Bravo team has troop mounted camera / light equipment in the Resident Evil 1 gamecube remake that is very simialr to thesystems mounted on the M3 tactical armor used by the United Americas, and other countries, troops from the movie "ALIENS."

*In every version thats playable right now except the gamecube and WII versions of the first Resident Evil, the codes to get the material saved for Ada Wong is John, Ada, and Moll. In the gamecube and WII version the code is John, Ada, and Cell. If you type in "Moll" in the newst versions instead of "Cell" you will here TOFU from Resident Evil 2 scream.

*Hunk is known as Death / Mr. Death. He has a reputation of being the only survivor in the Umberla Commando teams hes assigned too.

*In the N64 Resident Evil 2 game it has a collection of Jills diarys that you can read about the aftermath of the 1st Resident Evil. Also only in this version in the Tyrant development room next to the submachine gun is a dead MA-121 Alpha Hunter.

*In Resident Evil 2 if you do not collect a singel thing up till you get to the police station Brad from S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team will show up but as a Super Zombie in the lower outside section. If you kill him youll get a key that gives you a new outfitt that comes wity a arty revolver pistol.

*Killing the mutated Croc in Resident Evil 2 by shooting a tank of compressed gas in its mouth was inspired by the movie "JAWS."

"Berry is incharge of equipment and weapons for S.T.A.R.S. He contracts two brothers to make custom 9.mm and shotguns for the team. The pistols are called the "SAMURI Edge." That is shown in the Resident Evil gamecube remake and WII version of Resident Evil. In Resident Evill 2 Leon and Clare make there way into there gun store and witness one of the brothers being killed by Zombies. This iws were they also ge there crossbow or shotgun.

*If you search Weskers desk in Resident Evil 2 around 50-100 times youll find a picture of Rebecca Chambers.

*In Resident Evil 3 Jill has alot of unlockable costumes on is the character from Capcoms other survival horror series about Dinosaurs. The other is supposedly inspired by Buffy from the "Buffy" tv series.

*In Resident Evil Code Veronica there are cutscenes involving a Mouse. In Weskers battle mode game you find a journal with a 357. Mag that was written by the mouse in those cut scenes. He is very scared of all the fighting going on but is able to escape by sneaking aboard Weskers submarine. Wesker had no clue this happend until reading the journal.

*Theres a dears head watching you from creepy angles in every version of Resident Evil. This may be in homage to the movie " Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn." This movie featured a real creepy dears head.

*The MA-2 Chimera and the situations you are put in may hav been inspired by two movies "The Fly" and "ALIENS."

*The key code readers in the Resident Evil 1 gamecube remake and WII Are GAMECUBES.

**This might be changed for the Hd remake of Residrnt Evil 1. Code readers may be Xboxs for people that bought the Xbox version while people that get the PS version could have Playstations.

Well YWingace wants too/should be Mr. Book then we will have every named Stranger as a RE Zombie ; )

Your not the only one reading those novels XD they just started with a 2nd or third reprint with new covers. They made there way to RE5 and even made novel versions of the live action movies. I heard the novels make those stories a little better.

So, become a zombie with us ? An X wing holding zombie ? Going to the game store, from which you once played, in some vague memory of life, shambling around, forever awaiting, wave 5, just a glimmer of hope in your dead eyes....

Yes he could be like one of those "Shawn of the Dead" Zombies that still acts a bit like its uninfected self. Like rember when Shawn took icecream from the store without paying? If you look closly when they are attacked by the store owner he is holdin his hand out like he wants the money for the ice cream.

YWINGACE could be walking around with a Outrider mini while eating peoples brains. A normal person would see him and be like, **** hes got a wave five Outrider mini, those are hard to get... Should I kill him him and take the Outrider from him and rIsk the chance of getting infected, or should I run and risk the chance never getting the Outrider for the X-Wing mini game? Man life is hard =[ Death or turret mounted Heavy Laser...?

I'm just like that. :D

And it all comes back to X wing, very nice. Of course, you should always kill the zombie with the wave 5 Outrider, life is hard, we needs that wave 5. That said, sorry Ywing Ace, but yes, join us as one of the Strangers, its the right thing to do in the infected city of Raccon

We're at 43 % infected, at this rate this thread won't last long, perhaps in a couple week or maybe two ? Very nice X wing zombie aces, keep it up.

I dont know, IM getting kinda worried now, we are at 45% now I think. It looks like we are losing steam. =[

Ps I hope everyone liked my trivia on the frist page :)
