Reaction: After you refresh, capture the top card of an opponent's deck at this objective, if able.

So how would one play this reaction. Would I get to look at the top card of their deck? Do they look then if its a character hand it over?

Also, if its NOT a character, what happens to that card, is it placed on top of the deck again, at the bottom, discarded?

Does the protecting wookie have to be involved in the engagement to have damage moved to him?

1) you capture whatever the card is. Captured card does NOT have to be a character or even a unit at all. Just whatever the top card is

2) protect does not require the protector to be involved in the engagement.
