When I run Kath, I always put Expert Handling on her. Repositioning Fireaprays are what I am used to now, and even with the barrel roll FAQ ruling, it is still my preferred EPT on her. Kath does tend to die quickly in lists, which is why I put Expert Handling on her and keep her out of arcs, all the while using my rear arc to its fullest.

Which crew you use on her will depend on what you want to accomplish.

• Rebel Captive is cheap, and is a guaranteed stress for one of your opponent's ships. Some people will choose not to shoot at a Rebel Captive as well, so this may save her some damage
• Gunner is usually a good option, especially if you are using your action to barrel roll
• With Wave 5, Mara Jade might just find a place riding along with Kath for a Girl's Night Out

Lately, for anti-phantomness, you could try Veteran Instincts, but I recommend Engine if you do so. Engine will help to make sure she gets arcs on shifty Phantoms. Add in Rebel Captive for a great anti-phantom machine.
