it happened something like that for me... two days prior I purchased one of the KR cases(A I think); the day I went in to procure my order, they had it on the Daily Deal, they fixed it up for me. Nice guys over there too, gamers on a budget.

I buy most of my stuff from them because they are one of FLGS and I can usually make a drive over on Saturdays when I am off, at least once a month.

Heck last time I was there one of the guys was bringing out several different minis from different games for these guys to look at so they could build their own game, I thought that was cool.

snagged one and some wave 5 stuff to get free shipping... I don't have a LGS so no guilt trip for me..lol

I ordered one, but it is for my son who has been eyeing mine. That is my only online Xwing purchase. Eveything else I buy from three different stores: 1) we rarely play at and charges MSRP; 2) we play at often but charges MSRP; 3) we play at most and offers a better discount than online for us (aside from current CR90 deal). Obviously #3 gets the most business.

The Tantive IV has been on Amazon for like $58 for weeks. If you really missed this sale just get it on Amazon. They seem to have just about the best prices anywhere. Most models are like $12. I always buy from my local game store first, but if they cannot not get something in a reasonable amount of time, I just turn to amazon. I have been waiting for the Tantive for a month. After I waited an my game store told me did not look like he could get it, I just bought it from Amazon.

Saw them on sale while I was at work. Sold out by the time I got home.

I understand it was the deal of the day yesterday. my question is whether it is a sort of door crasher limited numbers sale or if it is the sale price for the whole day. It was early in the day when they sold out yesterday but they are fully restocked today so I'm guessing they only place a limited number up for the deal of the day.

They had about 340 in stock at the beginning of the sale and they now show 40, so it appears they don't limit it much.

Yeah they likely do limit it to clear excess stock. Keep in mind they are about to get a bunch of new stuff for X--Wing and these Tantives take up a lot of room. I was surprised by how huge that box was.
