i, personally, love it 9/10. i was thinking of doing something similar, but i couldn't visualize it.
the more i look at it, the more i like it.....
9/10?? Where'd he lose a point? I thought it was top notch. The colours are good, the weathering's good. The paint wasn't applied with a spatula. 10/10.

im being hype-critical, and maybe a bit jaded that i havent done the same thing to one of my firesprays. the hyper-critical part is i'd like to see a few panels with a bit more contrasting color...just a dash.
that being said, i love it i really do. like i said earlier the more i look at it the more i like it......9.5/
no air brush was, no? what about weathering powders, is that what you used to get the smutty look around some of the panel lines?
if its all paint and no powders i'll concede a 10/10

Just Testors model paint and an acrylic black paint watered down to a wash.

GF: "How many in the class this week"?
Me painting: "37 I think"
GF: "It is 11:30, shouldn't you be sleeping, hey are you painting over that Firespray again"?
Me freezing up with guilt: "Humm, what time is it, crap I got to get up at 2"
GF looking at the book shelf: "I didn't know you had three, I thought you said you painted Slave I as Kath"
Me from the other room: "Did you let the cat out"?
