Add both barrel roll and boost to the action bar (0 points)

0 point modification: Add both barrel roll and boost to the action bar. When performing boost or barrel roll, roll an attack dice: on a hit or crit the ships hull suffers 1 damage.


Because... a pilot should be able to push a ship beyond its capabilities in an extreme situation, by overloading the engines etc.


Thoughts?


5p and even then it would be underpriced. Not to mention very boring fr the game, making more ships very similar

Well the shuttle loves your idea, most large ships will though... but it would be unacceptably powerfull. Even for an automatic damage any ship except the Awing and interceptor will want the mod.

You could make it 2-3 points small ship only and make do an automatic damage card or on a crit a flipped up damage card, indicating wrecking the ship by pulling of a move it should not be able to do.

With the current state of the game this is not needed. Besides you could always take Porkins if you want to try out our mechanic.

I'd use 5 points on that card; hell, in some situations I'd spend 10.

But the only EPT I'd ever take again would be Push The Limit

Expert handling and engine upgrade?

Thought 1: The last thing this game needs is every ship to be identical.

Thought 2: I don't like black text.

Yeah sorry about the black text. 'It's not my fault' - Han solo.

So.. just small ships. Engine upgrade and expert handling show these ships can potentially do this already, and these cards make it safe to do it. The intention here is gambling for a strategic advantage when in a tough spot.

I think there's a difference between a ship being able to do something that gives it an identity, and a pilot dangerously pushing a ship beyond its limits in an extreme situation.

Anyway, it was just a thought :-)
