Ok your right about three things Velvet Revolver, Coheed and Cambria, and G&R aren't metal their rock sorry my bad .

OK about the whole Hendrix thing ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR F***ING MIND first off He revolutionized how to play a guitar and his style is still being played and to top it off he paved the way for heavy metal oh and by the way he was voted by almost every magazine and polls was held and out of every guitarist ever known he topped them all.

Also I like the Sex Pistols because of their lead singer and how his personality was like " F**k the world and I like the Ramones after I saw that movie that they was in called Rock & Roll High School which they wrote and had about 45% of that soundtrack entirely of their own. Next time you say something know what your talking about.

But Jimmy Hendrix is a great guitar player. He was one of the first successful left handed guitar players so it's not really all that surprising that he was number one.
