I'm sorry this devolved into a thread talking so much about the SD. It's just all the ships in the original squadron have one and when looking at ways to improve the squadron they are a pretty obvious target as is Kyle w/ Blaster but without Recon Specialist. The three HWK ship has been discussed before and while it may not make a tournament contender it can certainly be interesting if you happen to have three HWKs.

Looking back at it I'm now starting to wonder about the Elite Pilot upgrades used. More specifically I wonder what the point is to having both VI on Kyle and Swarm Tactic on Jan. I guess that right now Roark gives Jan PS12 and then Jan either boost Roark up to shooting that fast as well or lets Kyle shoot at PS 12 as well while Roark goes at his normal PS 4. The other option is boosting Kyle which make VI wasted points and then letting Jan shoot at her PS 8 while giving tactics to Roark. As it is set up there may be options but I'm not sure they are all that great if another use could be found for points.
