Attended a tournament yesterday in Stirling, Scotland.
Went with a Falcon + 3 Tala list.
During one of the games I rolled a total of 18 Attack dice in 1 turn including TL's, Hans ability etc and scored a grand total of 1 Hit. And my opponent managed to evade that one.
Anyone beat that?
It was great fun though.

Yesterday fired:
1x cluster missile
2x Assault missiles
2x homing missiles
at a bounty hunter with no focus or evade tokens....total of 22 attack dice. The bounty hunter had 1 hull left! I then had to finish him off with 2 z95 firing at range two to finally kill him!

Last night I had 5 ties shot at my transport at range three.
With every roll I rolled one dice andfive times I rolled one evade.

Back in the day; when a certain space battles game by FASA was still new, I had this friend named "Gorilla". Gorilla bring with him, to each game(tournament or casual): a hammer, a brick, his ships and a large bag of multicolored six-siders. Each time a die would fail to roll correctly, he would smash it with the hammer after whispering some unknown diatribe of alien origin.

Even better, burn them WITHOUT fire. They'll get good and scared if they know you can generate pure thermal energy without the need for any such . . . mundane instruments.
I see that kind of bad luck, but in defense, never in a attack, congratulations for you good attittude and the particular point of view, greettings.
dude i attacked twice with Echo+Outmanuver against a B-wing from behind him at R1 and did a total of 1 shield damage, thats 5 dice against 0 green TWICE all for 1 measly shield!

At nationals my Chewie w/ Predator and Gunner took 2 rounds shooting at a Gold Squad for a total of 1 shield lost on the y-wing.
I had bumped on the first round (no focus), but had a focus on the second round.
I count that as 20 dice for 1 damage.
That was the round of shooting that basically knocked me out of the top 8.

same dice i had Cracken range 1 of Maarek with 3 hull , Cracken had TL and Focus Rolled 3 Crits

I had 11 evades rolled against me, in a row, completely natural, when I was at the Atlanta Regionals.
Odds are roughly 1:50,000 against.

OK... so that explains the hammer... but what was the brick for?

OH, he would put that D6 on the brick when he smashed it.

If it is an 8 TIE swarm vs an 8 TIE swarm, I would pretty much expect no damage. It's why that is pretty much the most tedious game possible.
0 Evades on 10 Agility dice, all with Focus.
I rolled 32 green dice in my 2nd game at regionals, not only did I NOT roll a single evade, but I rolled straight up blanks, not even a single focus. Work out those odds, then come see me if you think you've had bad dice luck.
Stupid green D8's.....
Played in a 300-point epic tournament on Saturday. In the first round of the second game, I managed to bring about 250ish points of my force to bear... and managed to cause a single shield to be removed by my opponent. This is after 3 predator / focused HLC's against an AG0 corvette, several cluster missiles, and a pile of other focused shots.
Same game, an undamaged, focused Vader with 6 defense dice was one-shotted by a 5-hit attack.
I had a game on vassal the other night where during one combat round, my opponent and I combined to throw down 29 red attack dice, and combined only did 5 damage.
HAHAHAHAHA. 
Sorry but this is why I love dice in this game. Those are the exciting and funny moments.
