What do you all think, is this a good place to start for a custom built Scum Huge Ship?

I already started to work on one of these, but I would like to know what you all see, design wise...

So you are working on a model that will involve a flying space tank? Really?

No, really? You sir, have way to much time on your hands.

Nah man, not a tank. Look at the red body and think of it as a ship. The tank treads are not going to be on the model I am doing, however the wheels are going to be the nice strong engines of the ship. This model will be somewhere between a Transport and a Tantive.

What existing SCUM ships does the body of the HISS Tank look like it could fit in with, from a (comparable) design perspective. I might be to out there on this one, but I wonder what you guys will come up with...

It could be an Imperial Stormtrooper ship. I mean if it's anything like in the cartoon it'll have lasers that never hit anything.

Yeah, looks like the Action VI medium transport, the Wild Karrde is a custom Action VI. Could do the upgrade of the Action VI, the Interceptor frigate.

Joe Boss Red Seven: Whatever you do I know it's gonna be awesome. After all, just thinking that a GI Joe toy could be made into a Star Wars ship is bad ass enough.

Pop off the guns, relocate them perhaps, remove the treads, file down curves for sharper lines if possible, smooth out the filing marks, add lights, that little black section? gold/yellow LEDs, make that the bridge. Pop a couple of large cylindrical items on the bottom, side by side or over-under just like the Escort Carrier (Rogue Squadron version), and about six smaller ones as auxilliary thrusters, maybe four.

Strap one of the guns to the bottom and add that as a main cannon/turbolaser meant to contend with Frigates, and add falcon-sized turrets to the sides after carving out divots for them, and a few to the front.

Then you've got a badass Imperial patrol cruiser that is reminiscent to the Tartan Cruiser, Escort Carrier, and with a little bit of the original Escort Carrier, but next to none of the size.

I call the concept, "Ranger" or, "Watchman".

Right... that too, but not with the HISS models.

The tread-wheels are going to be used for a number of engines however including a Guardian, because they look good and are the right size.

Right now I am all about me some SCUM!!!
