SCUM HUGE Ship Model Idea...
So my HISS Tanks have been delivered... time to play!
Honestly, to me, the Hounds Tooth looks like a stapler with wings and the Wild Karrde looks like I should be carrying my x-wing minis in it. Oh, time to make a Wild Kardde skin for a plano.
What do you all think, is this a good place to start for a custom built Scum Huge Ship?
I see it, what do you all see... other than a badass Cobra HISS Tank, of course.

I am going to make two. The Rampager Class is going to be RED... my fine Winger-Brother !
The Shadow Stalker Class will be BLACK!
I finally got a neat little graphic done (two in fact...) over the weekend.
The Rampager is shown in this image, with it's big brother.
I can see that working pretty well. I'd put small turrets no bigger than the ones on the CR-90, probably smaller, where the big guns at the back are. I like the look of the little guns under the nose. How you going to make the engines?
You know, I felt that the HISS guns look like toys, but then I put them on the side mounts, and set up ships to compare the scales.
They look awesome now that I have done that.
The back will have smaller guns for sure. The engines actually came with the tank also in the form of he wheels for the tank treads. I am going to get them mounted to a plastic pipe and detail everything to bring it all together.

This is just a preview of the project.
All I have done thus far is think it up, draw some simple but cool and fun little design/concept images for the ship and it's scale in relation to other Mando ships.
The actual modeling work begins tonight.

So I have been keeping a close eye on the stock levels of HISS Tanks at Amazon for the last three weeks, since I decided to make my SCUM ACs. They have sold two or three a week, until I posted my topic at B6*R7 yesterday. They had 18 in stock, and now not even 24 hours later they are down to 1 in stock!
Admit it, who is buying up all the HISS Tanks?

You've inspired me to rip up some old Dust Tactics walkers and convert them to some sort of patrol ships and a tramp freighter.
I feel like I should convert my old ETA-2 Hasbro toy into something workable.
Still say swap the big guns for tiny turrets. Also need to cut up a couple hundred small rectangles of plastic card to detail up the surface

Yeah man for SCUM you can just be crazy. I am going to make some Rimmer Trash too, that are basically crazy scum junkers. I mean why not that was in Star Wars, so it can be in X-Wing.

Yeah, those guns really are comedically over-sized. Almost half the size of a transport? That's just too much, man...
