One is probably plenty. I can't really see myself ever playing more than two B-Wings, and I'm not a huge fan of A-Wings to begin with.
One....for starters. I already have an A-wing, and I can't see myself going all-A-wing, so 2 in total should be enough.

You should get rid of an A-Wing and B-Wing and then get two Aces.
Looking at the upgrades in Aces it seems there is one "extra" of several ship specific upgrades (such as the refit) which points to wanting one expansion of each to go with each Rebel Aces box. As I only have one A and B is seems to me that one Rebel Aces should suffice.
4 rebel aces. Then I have 4 daggers...if I ever wanted to fly 4 of them naked together with 4 points left for upgrades. Otherwise, a flight of blues and a flight of daggers for epic.
Better yet, 4*3 = 12 Chardaan Refits. Enough to outfit all 12 A-wings. Imagine that for epic. Although, played on a lot larger surface than 6X3.
Two for sure. I really want to tinker with A-Wings. The B-Wing stuff will probably see some good use, too.

Two, because this is the golden age for A-wings. I already have three A-wings, and I'm not gonna fly 5, but I love them too much to not buy 2 RA.

Just one. I'm a one-of-everything completionist, and I don't see myself needing to be able to field the somewhat gimmicky 3x or 4x B lists, etc. any time soon. If I do, I'll borrow from a friend or something.
In the meantime, I gotta save up for W6.
Originally i had three preordered but that was before i realized that there were multiple refits in each box so its back down to two. I have two each of A and B wings
Probably 2 here also. I got 2 Imp Aces bringing me to 6 Interceptors and plenty of appropriate upgrades. 2x RebAces will do the same for my A-/B-Wings. I'm really glad I've kept my initial purchases low, because I can round out my collection so nicely with these multi-ship packs. (Getting 2 of the S&V pack, will also bring me to 4 Y's and 3 Z's, though I plan on getting more of the latter. Nice!)
2 B-wings and 4 A-wings atm so probably only the 1 set I have on preorder. I want to make an A-wing list but not done so successfully yet(mainly because I play Imperials mostly). Hopefully the Aces will help this out.
