New Counter to Phantoms and TIE Swarm

Gadge, sounds like a great place to be.. I'm envious.. hahah

Hobojebus, merry men don't bother me, it's the arrows they fire that I have issue with.. lol

Green!

I love my A-Wing. Its name is Lucky. It specializes in long shots at 3 agility ships through asteroids. I think not everyone is so fortunate as to have a blessed A-Wing, though.

But my god man the tights...the horribly thin tights!!!

They hide nothing...

Robin Hood films... i can cope with the tights.

it was the last one with the wooden 'higgins boats', the way london was a hamlet and the way that teenagers ride from nottingham to the south coast in an afternoon i had trouble 'suspending my disbelief' over.

Shame really it started really well!

was that the russel crow one? cause i avoided that like the plague.

Yep, good dodge there as it made you want to gouge your eyes out.

it was dire. started off *brilliantly* then rapidly went downhill and ridiculous. If you had even the most transient knowledge of the geography of the British Isles it was Farcical.

I have a soft spot for the kevin costner one, but i do like even crap films with morgan freeman in there, i could listen for hours to that man in any role.

he's great isnt he.

i love him in the 'dark knight' batman movies but 'shawshank' might be one of his best films for me.

Its close but i tip more towards se7en, first film i really gave brad pitt credit for his ability to act instead of thinking him just a pretty boy...then he made world war z a film that did no justice to the book.

agreed on those.

I had a similar epiphany with Dicaprio... always had him down as 'teen girl hearthrob' and a bad actor then saw him in'catch me if you can' and he was very very good, he was also excellent in Blood Diamond and other films.

I consider him a pretty good actor and feel bad for judging him on titanic and romeo and juliette

But if you want a film that massacres the book it has to be 'i am legend'... it totally misses the *entire* point of the book.

Urgh i know that ending...the vincent price ones better or even omega man.

I'm not sure who I hate more, Kax or Rib.

Mad costumes Radarman! I considered playing in my TIE helmet but i cant see a bloody thing in it...

Yeah, tell me about it. I'm the bass player/singer and I actually had to retired that mask after the first couple shows because it was too hard to see my bass' neck. The other guys just had a big mesh over their faces, so they had much better vision.

Most hollywood actors are pretty good given the chance. The problem is finding the right script at the right time many times, so they don't fall into archtypes, competition is harsh enough to weed out most of bad actors tho.

I liked the seven, but it was twelve monkeys the one when i said, **** this guy!

Like Tim Robbins, i had seen a lot of movies of him, he always kind of makes the same character, witty, sometimes funny, kind, etc. Watching Mystic River was like really pleasant surprise.
