The line wasn't bad on Friday, and there really wasn't a line on Sunday. I don't know how bad it was on Thursday or Saturday since I was playing X-wing.
I tried Farlander with Opportunist, E2, and Jan Ors the other day. That was a scary ship.

Any rate, back on topic, which is the content of Rebel Aces, has anyone else had good experiences, perhaps by proxying if you were unable to get the real thing yet, and since (yes) it's been spoiled online for so long?
Keyan is as good as advertised (although not as good as some people feared). I've run him with PTL and Advanced Sensors, and with Opportunist. Both are pretty powerful, but Opportunist is really scary; the downside is that it essentially pushes you into a three-ship build.
I played this, and had a blast:
Keyan Farlander (29)
Opportunist (4)
Wes Janson (29)
Veteran Instincts (1)
R3-A2 (2)
Luke Skywalker (28)
Predator (3)
R5-P9 (3)
Total: 99
OT: I laughed out loud at your member title.
Edited by Vorpal SwordYou could move away from the 3-ship build by making use of Decoy, Swarm Tactics, or even a mix of both.

(This is more-or-less a stream-of-consciousness post, so bear with me.)
Swarm Tactics requires PS8-9 with a +2 cost for the EPT, and that's hard to get: the cheapest option is Cracken, which leaves you 46 points to get at least two ships, each one which has to be adept enough at stripping tokens to make Keyan's Opportunist reliable. So you could run a pair of B-wings with room enough for a Flechette Torpedo or something, or a couple of Rookie Pilots with 4 points leftover for astromechs or further upgrades to Keyan or Cracken.
Decoy has the same problem in that a high-PS Decoy user can still be fairly expensive. But you could also Decoy a lower PS on to Keyan, to force him to shoot late in the round (like PS3 from a 19-point Green Squadron Pilot + Decoy + Chardaan Refit); that looks better to me, because it leaves you with 52 points for a pair of token-strippy guys, who only have to be PS3 or better. That's Tarn + R7 and a 27-point ship of your choice--could be a named A-wing, a couple of Talas, a Dagger + Advanced Sensors... lots of choices.
Roark is an option, too--at 24 points with an ICT, he's not much more expensive than Keyan, and he's a bit more durable (and with a longer leash, he's a lot easier to keep out of the way).
