I hope they don't make a young Han movie. Some characters can be recast but Harrison Ford made Han Solo what he is, I just can't imagine it working with any other actor.

I would be most interested in a movie about just some group of Rebels, maybe a fighter squadron or something, and just telling a small story about their battles against the Empire. Better yet, make a movie from the perspective of the Imperials, or a story of an imperial soldier/pilot going through training and starting his career as an imperial military officer and then telling the story of his eventual defection to the alliance.

The tragic tale of a young storm trooper destined to miss every target he shoots at.

But the idea of the war from an imperial's point of view sounds good.

Personaly i always tought admirall Ozzel was either a rebel sympathiser* or a spy, nobody can be that stupid, unless it is on purpose. I mean: darth vader is looking for a rebel base. Ozzel find buildings on Hoth, goes out of his way to claim they are nothing but smugglers. Then he lets the fleet drop out of hyperspace to close to the systhem. A bad tactical desicion or a last ditch attempt to warn the rebels?

(* I'm informed that acording to his background he was most definatly not a rebel sympathiser.)

A deep cover rebel operative would have a background designed to make you think that

A young Han earning his bloodstripes, washing out of imperial military service, saving chewie, and winning the Falcon off Lando should be plenty of material for a young Han movie. oh, they need to show him taking his iconic vest from Greedo.

But how will they take 50+ years off Harrison Ford's face?!? Would it be CGI?!?

Soontir Fel. That would be an amazing movie but I don't know if they would have enough time to accomplish everything it would need. It would have to be close to three hours for me to be happy with it

Oooh, I've got an even better idea. We can see how the Empire actually let the Rebels kill Palps and Vader, because 50 years later, they were going to rise up and Crush the New Republic. Muahahahahaha!

A Red 5 movie? I'm not sure I want a movie about Jal Te Gniev.
