We all know the new trilogy is coming, but what about the movies set to come out in between the trilogy chapters?

(for those that don't know, we are getting a movie a year, alternating between trilogy and stand alone character based films).

We only have rumors but they suggest a Fett movie, then a Han movie, then a movie starring the best character, Red 5.

I've seen speculation here that the trilogy itself won't introduce loads of new ships (like the originals didn't) which makes sense to me.

But if these other movies are going to delve back into the heart of the rebel vs imperial conflict maybe these are the ones that are going to lead to cool models for us.

If the rumors are accurate that's 2 fringe setting movies (calling all scum).

And a Red 5 movie? (squeals)

Fett and Yoda. And a TIE Advanced movie as well, detailing it's journey to find more play.

I'm all for a Boba fett movie. As far as a movie set around the rebels , nope. Bunch of hippies in orange jump suits.

A Fett movie might be interesting because we might get to see Manda'yaim, but as for Han and Red 5, no. I am SOOOOO sick of scum being the main characters.

If they can get Temuera Morisson or however you say his name back to do a Boba Fett movie I'd be game. Young Yoda during the old republic days would be great too. Young Han? Eh, maybe.

A young Han earning his bloodstripes, washing out of imperial military service, saving chewie, and winning the Falcon off Lando should be plenty of material for a young Han movie. oh, they need to show him taking his iconic vest from Greedo.

Bounty Hunter Wars would make a pretty great trilogy in film.

Ok serious this time. We need a how Han met Chewie movie. Boba movie is awesome, As long as he already has the armor, doesn't take of his helmet and we don't get traumatic flashbacks of his dad head getting lightsabered off.

Not sure i am if, i can stand a movie in which the protagonist, like this he talks. hrmmmhm.

Altough Robot chicken already nailed it: jar jar shows up on darth vaders bridge intent on haning out with annakin, so vader shoves him out of an airlock. The good thing is jar jar freezes to death in the cold vacuum of space...

Urgh just because marvel is pulling off two a year does not mean every franchise should, maybe they can do it but I've seen pirates of the Caribbean and that went down hill when they decided to film back to back.

I would LOVE an Obi-Wan movie.

He was just about the only redeeming factor in the prequel trilogy, though even there he suffered from poor writing/directing.

I want more Obi-Wan.

Some of the prequel books have good Obi-wan stuff, off the top of my head try The Approaching Storm, Labyrinth of Evil, and the Ep3 novelisation(which is surprisingly good and proves that the film just needed a competent director).

Nothing that is a prequel. At all. I don't want to know how it ends. I want to believe that the main character COULD blow up the entire universe at some point in the film.

Agreed as a rule prequels suck be it Texas chain saw massacre or the thing they don't add to the original and can detract from it.
