It's the first thing I noticed and it drives me nuts every single time I see it.

And people are all, like, "OMG, did you see the new Boba art??"

And I'm all, like, "DID YOU???"

Slightly off-topic... I wonder if not only the Firespray but also HWK-290s, Y-Wings and Z-95s have been moving a little more quickly off the shelves at distributors and FLGS since the S&V announcement?

And I'm sorely tempted to get that 3rd Firespray...

The Most Wanted pack doesn't come with any extra Scum maneuver templates for the Z-95. It only has two for the two Z-95 models that are in the pack.

If this is true, it would be really unfortunate. They are very lenient with altering dial faces, as long as the back card of the dial with the maneuvers is unaltered. Having said that, you won't have any base tiles.

I own three, one is painted like Kath's firespray. I don't see myself needing anymore unless I want to get another one painted up nice.

I'd honestly like to have six. One for Boba's paint job, one for Krassis, one for Kath, and three painted like the PS 3 Bounty Hunter. Or perhaps two as typical BHs and one as the Andrastia (don't know how to spell it all I know is that it has an almost nude twilek on the side).

So if you want to run a couple Scum Firesprays but only owned one Firespray, you're probably buying a second Firespray now to get ready.

S&V isn't due out until end of the year, still another 5 months away. There's a little time to get those yet. Myself I'd be inclined to wait and bundle them with the Most Wanted and other stuff to save on shipping... Unless you plan on using unreleased cards that is.

I have to admit, getting another and painting it is a bit tempting though.

Based on the picture... Most Wanted comes with 3 Z-95 and Y-Wing cards and 2 HWK base cards.

They don't make rulings about unreleased product. But I'd be shocked if they let you use the S&V dials for the other factions. Sure they'll be the same dial most likely but that would still be out of character based on the existing tournament rules.

He is not making a claim he is stating a fact, no official anything further is need.

For the base cards you get three Z's, three Y's, two HWK's, and two Firesprays.

For the dials you get a pair of Z's and Y's and one each of the HWK and Firespray.

As someone already mentioned, I think the tiles are more relevant here. There may be no practical difference between the two dials, but the S&V tiles won't have Bandits or Talas on them, and the Rebel tiles won't have the generic S&V pilots (or any of the named pilots for that matter). So, it really depends on how many tiles the new set comes with.

You can't really alter the dials at all other then a mark of some sort. But even that's limited. Plus you generally have to use the stuff that came with the game, can't alter the model ect...

A lot of this is done for the sake of all the game looks to people spectating. Having S&V Y-Wing dials next to Rebel Y-Wing dials would look odd. So for that reason I don't think they'll allow it.

In all honesty, I can't find a part of the tournament rules that specifically addresses maneuver dials, except to say that they can be marked "to indicate ownership." Other than that, "each player is required to use components included in official X-Wing products," which the dials are.

If the difference is completely superficial - which it appears to be, since the Scum dials say "Z-95 Headhunter," just like the Rebel ones - I think that would be perfectly allowable, though a TO may disallow it if he feels a player is deliberately trying to confuse people.

The new Boba Fett is the Shi! , so freaking good. For 6 points over a BH you get tons of Rerolls plus high PS.

Yes it can get confusing, but that's gonna happen anyways, for example, the set comes with 2 Y-wing dials for example, so you will have rebel Y-wings models with Scum dials for sure. And confusing, yes, like mirror matches are already.

Of course, all of this talk is pure speculation, i just hope they don't do it, because it would force players to buy more of the stuff they already have, for very little reason. I see the merits of what you are saying tho.

I'm sure FFG see's a reason for that. But who knows, if you want to play 3 S&V Firesprays you'd have to buy 3 boxes of Most Wanted, and I know I'd rather not do that, just for the 2 dials.

Unrelated to what we are speaking, but I don't think you would need 3 firesprays for S&V, take into account that the non named pilot is PS5.
