What even happened to that in-scale star destroyer battle that was supposed to happen? I saw some photos a few weeks back of the massive model but haven't heard or seen anything from the match. It sounded amazing and I would love to hear from some folks who took part.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the Armada demos?

I saw a table that was roughly 12 feet long and had a star destroyer hull on one side that the rebels had to shoot through to do damage. Looked pretty awesome and was in epic scale. Not sure if that's what you are referring to or not.

There was some talk here I think about a X-Wing game using the 1-72 or 1-42 sized models. But I don't think it went anywhere beyond talk.

Man, I can't find the pictures now. It was a roughly twelve foot long Star Destroyer. Pretty impressive. A buddy of mine who went to Gen-Con was talking about it a while ago when he registered. He said there was an event scheduled for sixteen people to fight the star destroyer but he couldn't get in since it filled up too fast. Haven't seen him since he got back, when I do I'll ask him about it.

I remember seeing pics of a big SD from a different con about a month back. I think Oroshii posted the pics he found somewhere. But I never heard anything about a gencon appearance, and I didn't see a SD while I was there.
