Wave 6 Stats

If all their small ships have an attack of two, no matter the dials, it would seem underwhelming. The picture seems iffy, it's an odd angle and a blurry picture. Maybe its a two maybe its a three, i think its too soon to tell.

That depends. I bet the StarViper has a cannon. And two of their ships can take the (soon to be even more awesome I hope) turret upgrades. Ywings, Hawks and Z95s have already proven themselves capable ships. I wouldn't worry. Especially with firesprays and the like backing them. I mean, what Imperial 3 attack small ships see lots of play... They have 2 such ships. Both of which are difficult to use.

Well, the Scyk has a slightly better statline than a standard TIE, if it's priced in the 13-16 range for generics it could be really good, especially if the weapon modularity makes it in in some form. The SV's pricing will make or break it, it's slightly worse than the Advanced's statline except that with Boost+BR and potentially a cannon it could be up there with Interceptors.

So the Sych is an awing, the viper an advanced, and IG-200 a large tougher defender?

Scyk's about halfway between an A-wing and a TIE, otherwise yeah. If it ends up with a cannon slot the Viper'd be more like an Interceptor/B-wing, which has some serious nasty potential.

edit: actually, considering that the Scyk, Headhunter, and Y-wing are all fairly low-middling, I could see the StarViper with the B-wing's cannon+system combo, it's kind of a hotrod after all.

"The StarViper was equipped with dual laser cannons of medium destructive power" from Wookieepedia. Sounds like a 2 to me

The Wookieepedia entry is poorly worded.

It is equipped with 2 (thats two sets of), twin dual laser cannons. 2 X 2 = 4. It has as many laser cannons as the X-wing, Interceptor, Defender, etc. It should not have 2 attack.

Just look at the pictures. It has 4 cannons. Just like the Firespray.

That listing is unsourced. Prince Xizor's ship had heavy cannons, but I can't find a source for the retconned 'normal' versions to have that. Also its quite possible that it has a cannon slot letting you give it its HLC.

Perhaps it'll have a Virago title with a cannon slot? Pretty sure the non-Virago StarVipers were slightly undergunned in comparison.

I'm fairly certain that StarViper has an attack of 3. The bottom of the number is not flat like you would expect with a 2 and it appears round in the lower back corner of the number.

The IG-2000 will be a monster, probably cost more than the Firespray/Defender.
