As i've said about eight times today.

I think the game needed this. i wanted mercs/pirates didnt expect it to be a true united 'faction' though like 'black sun'

I don't think they'll officially call them the Black Sun, since the Smugglers Alliance, Bounty Hunters Guild, and others can all claim using the various ships. I think the forum title of Fringer faction actually works best- you can choose to be mercs or pirates or smugglers, they all are able to fly under the Fringer name.

The Zahn consortium could be part of it too (or maybe just Tyber himself). I see it more as a collection of ships with the player being free to associate it with whatever pirate organization he wants. I think some slides in the presentation even had mandalorian logos on them, if I remember correctly.

I was gonna say that. I love the game, but the problem is if you haven't played it by now, it's way too hard to go back and get it, unless you've got a lot of money... I really wish Nintendo put it on their Virtual Console... LOVE that game

Didn't they post the black sun symbol somewhere a little while back as a teaser?

Thought they are calling the 3rd faction "Scum and Villainy", seems like they are keeping it generic to not put themselves into a corner.

Also, one can overpaont those black sun symbols.. just paint match .. or repaint. It will be interesting to see all the other ships in these releases..

Xizor was in the books too. He was creeping on Leia with his sweet pheromone powers.
