Hi guys

originally painted this as an 'eldar transport' for a Rogue Trader table top game (i've a blog 'tales from the maelstrom' if anyone else plays retro 40k and is interested) but realised it looked a bit 'mon calamari'

At the mo I just use it as a disabled ship the rebels have to protect (like using a transport or corvette as 'asteroids) but am going to try and make some cards and templates up for it as a stand in CR90.

Hope you like it, the perspective in this makes it look smaller than it is. Its as long as a tantive and twice as wide as the transport.

It's actually an old 'lost in space' toy and while most stuff is glued in place i left the 'sound effects' functional!

Lots of curves and an irregular shape yeah works for me.

If you filled in the lines, smoothed the hull, and screwed around with it, it would indeed look very MonCal.

Ah but then it would not fit in with my Rogue Trader Eldar pirate force... compromises.

It's going to be used more for RT than Xwing and I cant see it being used that often in Xwing so i'll probably keep it as is but you're right, those improvements would nail it.

If i can pick up a second one cheap i'll proabably build it as mon cal from the ground up but i got this one for £2 GBP in thrift store.
