Team Covenant Armada GenCon Demo 2014

Hadn't seen this posted yet.

Enjoy

It was definitely posted over on the Armada forum.

(Hint, hint.)

Wow, I hate that movement ruler. Once you get a few more ships on the table, that thing is going to be hitting things left and right.

Yes, not crazy about the maneuver ruler. I think there are better ways to do that. Otherwise I like it. I especially like the range dependent dice.

Wrong forum!

Looks better than I thought, but looks like a REALLY long game

All I can say is who every is using that camera should be shot.

That is done of the worst camera footage I've seen

Really disappointed by that.

I found it hard to follow with the fast zooming in and out, the long periods of out if focus.

Really a **** shame that they gave that person the responsibility

I hope there is another video where someone with better recording skills recorded it

It looks awesome, but I think I prefer the dog fighting style of X-Wing. But I may just have to check this out to see how I feel about it.

For what it's worth, I actually really liked the style. Team Covenant demos have a lot of those out-of-focus shots and quick zooms in them and it's part of the reason that I like them. It gives them their own unique flair to their videos. I don't think it was over the top or unnecessarily frequent, just some editing decisions that make the presentation cooler than "here's me in my home office with my stuff set up on my desk, let me talk about this game." To each their own, though. I just really like the way TC does their videos. I understand that you don't like the style, but to say the cameraman needs to be shot is taking it a little far.
