I love the sharing in this list, and no matter which ship goes down first, there will still be heavy-hitting chemistry between the remaining two.

Shots are easy to come by due to all turret weapons, there's an ion for control and it should hit like a mac truck.

One of the HWKs might go down pretty quickly, but Nera Dantels should be the most significant threat, so she might soak up a couple rounds of damage before the opponent realizes how much damage can be done by Katarn - 360 degree arc, 3+1 from Jan red dice, a focus and a predator reroll on every shot. If the instead target Jan first, that leaves Katarn and his focus factory feeding himself and Dantels.

I'd say this list hits as hard as a good 4 ship list, so long as it stays intact. Against similar few-ship lists where it can concentrate fire on a single target, it should have no problem wiping out powerful ships easily.

This list should do well against any big ships with lots of hull - I figure it would shred firesprays, defenders and falcons. It would likely get hit pretty hard by swarm lists. 2 attacks and an ion attack just won't cut it against a swarm, no matter how hard those 2 attacks hit. Against a phantom, too, it would be pretty effective. Unless the phantom pilot could successfully stay at range 3 cloaked, it will find itself in trouble in short order.

I like it (as much as it is possible to like a 3 ship rebel list). I love the HWK and double HWK lists hold a special place in my heart.

With your last point you should put VI on Jan, because then she is PS10 for making Phantoms cry with her Ion Turret. It's either that or Nien Numb for the straight greens to clear stress. VI is probably better currently.

I have run that setup with Kyle and it is great, if expensive. Predator really makes the Blaster Turret much better. Another option for Kyle is Wingman to clear Jan's stress.

Nera is also quite the threat, with generally easy to shoot Protons at 5 dice.

I think your biggest issue is the need to close fast. With 2 turrets you will typically miss out on the first round of shooting. You then need to be able to set yourself up to reduce incoming fire, or at least split it.

Might want to spent that last point on munition failsafe.
